Bai Xi stupidly stared at the man eating elegantly in front of her, who looked like he didn’t think that what he just said was shocking. He was interested in her? Surely, she was hearing things, or maybe she didn’t hear him correctly. How could this man…

She coughed. “You… You said you are interested in me?”

“Yes, I am very interested in you.”

The porcelain bowl in Bai Xi’s hands hit the ground with a clatter. “You mean… Does that mean that you like me?” Is this the legendary confession? But why didn’t she feel happy?

He met her astonished gaze. “Like? What do you mean by like?”

Feng Ming put down his chopsticks and picked up an embroidered white handkerchief. He wiped his mouth gracefully before looking at Bai Xi. “What do you mean by like?” he asked seriously.

Feng Ming’s expression didn’t change after hearing her words. “Mm, you are indeed drunk. Go to sleep.”

Bai Xi relaxed and her drowsiness caught up to her. She fell asleep on the table, her breathing even.

The moment Bai Xi closed her eyes, his expression returned to indifference. The temperature of the room dropped sharply. “What is it?”

A dark shadow suddenly appeared and knelt in front of him. “Master, three elders sent a letter.”

As soon as the shadow finished speaking, he handed over the letter. Feng Ming didn’t open it immediately. “If it happens again next time, stop it by yourself.”

“Yes, this subordinate will follow Master’s words.” He paused. When he heard that Master was eating with a woman, he couldn’t help his curiosity and came over to take a look secretly. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to take a look inside the room as a strong force struck him. He almost died! His curiosity almost killed him! “This subordinate will leave now!”
