Chapter 91 - Grandfather Fu Demands That Fu Hee Pays Off Her Debts Before Dinner

"You still have the guts to talk back? Lu, get me my cane, I haven't used it in a long time.

Fu Hee ran out of the Study when she heard the old man's words. She didn't believe the old man would rare to hit her with a cane, but she still had to run away in other to be on the safe side.

Butler Lu sighed in relief when he saw that Fu Hee had left. He didn't even pity her because she went over-board by disrespecting the old ma without batting an eye.

"Master, I will go and call in some servants to clean the floor." Butler Lu said.

Grandfather Fu waved his hand, permitting him to leave. The old man had a frown sitting on his face and he had suddenly lost the zeal to practice his calligraphy skills.

Fu Hee had tears in her eyes as walked into the living room, and Fu ChunHua who had been sitting there and waiting for the drama to finish unfolding looked shocked to her Fu Hee in that state.

"Why do you look like this?" Fu ChunHua asked. She was already too shocked to make fun of her

"Are you not happy to see me in this state, why are you pretending to be shocked?!." Fu Hee said in anger.

Then she turned to the two servants that were dodging by the side and said to them in a harsh tone.

"What are losers doing there?! Can't you see that I need to wipe this ink off my face?!."

The two servants hurriedly went away and returned within a minute with two pieces of clothes.

As they wiped her face and dress with the pieces of clothes, their attention turned to the steady footsteps that were approaching them.

Seeing that it was Fu Hua, Fu Hee let the grievances she has been holding in out. She began to cry as she pushed the two servants away and walked to his side.

"Mum, what happened to you?." Fu Hua asked with a deep frown.

"Fu Hua you have to uphold justice for me! I just learned that your grandfather arranged a marriage partner for you, and I went to ask about it. He confirmed it and shocked me with the news that Jia Li was the person he found for you. And as your mother, how could I allow you to be short-changed?." Fu Hee cried out.

Fu Hua stretched his hand towards the servant for the clothing, and it was handed over to him. Fu Hia helped his mother to wipe her face as he said, "And you quarreled with grandfather? I didn't even dare to do that even though I wasn't unhappy."

Fu Hee pushed his hands away and said to him. "How can I allow my precious son to be treated like this. if the person he arranged for you was better than the daughter of the Bai Family I already arranged for you, then I wouldn't be this angry."

Fu Hee continued talking without noticing that Fu Hua's countenance had changed.

"You already planned to arrange a wife for me if Grandfather hadn't made plans earlier than you?." Fu Hua asked as black lines appeared on his forehead.

Fu Hee finally glanced at Fu Hua to see he was angry, and then she hurried to say, "Fu Hua, I was only helping you out. I know you're busy and don't have the time to date, so I decided to ease your burden, is it wrong of me?."

"What did I tell you about my private life? I repeatedly good you not to worry about my matter, but you didn't listen to me and even went ahead to arrange a marriage for me with the Bai Family? Mother, you are too much!." Fu Hua said as he handed over the towel to her and walked away.

"Son? Son!!!."

No matter how Fu Hee called out, Fu Hua refused to stop in his steps.

Fu Hee started to regret her actions. She didn't know when she revealed that huge news to him. Now, she has managed to annoy him after he showed care towards her.

Fu Hua has never acted like that towards her before. He was helping her to wipe the ink off her face because he thought she went against the Old man for his sake, but he only found out it was because of her selfish interest, so he left angrily.

Fu ChunHua who has been sitting on the sofa quietly got up and glanced at Fu Hee.

"Fu Hee, I am really amazed by your capabilities at annoying the Old Man, you really have guts. Please remind me not to be foolish like you in the future." Fu ChunHua said and walked away without a care.

She thought Fu Hee had senses, and abound know the old man didn't like it when he was authority was challenged, but she still went ahead to anger him. She felt that she deserved more punishment.

"Fu ChunHua, who are you calling foolish?!." Fu Hee said angrily as she tried to chase after her.

Fu ChunHua stopped in her steps and said to her, If you are not sure of embarrassing yourself, come after me!."

Fu Hee could only stop in her steps and watch Fu ChunHua walk away.

"Madam, we need to clean your face." One of the servants reminded her, and the next thing she did was to slap her.

"Who gave you the permission to talk?!." Fu Hee said in anger as she three the stained clothing to her before walking away.

The servant held the side of her face that was hit and dared to make any sound.

After Fu Hee left their side, the other servant supported the one that was hit, and the left together.

When Fu Hee got to her bedroom, she threw the pillows off the bed as she said in anger, "What eligible wife?! This is a big scam to my son!."

She only remembered to wash her face when she got tired from throwing a tantrum.

As for Jia Li, the latter had not stepped foot out of her bedroom after she left the old man's study, and she has been unable to complete her design draft.

She has been lost in thought since then. She had so many things that were going through her mind, and she knew her life wouldn't be peaceful anymore because of Grandfather Fu's decision.

That evening, Fu Hee did not step out of her bedroom, and she didn't bother to check on the kitchen for tonight's dinner, as she was too angry to do so.

Right before dinner, Butler Lu came to her meet her.

"Butler Lu, what are you doing here? Did Father send you to come and apologize to me on his behalf? Well, I don't want it." Fu Hee said as she rolled her eyes.

Butler Lu didn't find any logic in what Fu Hee had just said, but he went ahead to say the reason he came looking for her.

"Madam, you must be wrong about it. On behalf of Master, I am here to collect the debts you owe him."

Fu Hee was taken unaware by the demand, she even looked confused.

"What debts are you talking about? Butler Lu, you must be mistaken? I am not owing anybody anything." Fu Hee said with a frown.

"Madam, it seems you have forgotten that Master asked you to pay up for the expensive ink he splashed on you in his study. He is asking that you pay up before dinner time." Butler Lu reminded her with a smile.

It would have been better if he didn't remind her of the humiliation she faced earlier that day, but he just had to mention it to clarify his point.

Fu Hee gritted her teeth and said to him, "How much does the ink cost?."

"$5,000" Butler Lu replied.

"How could that ink be so expensive? This is daylight robbery." Fu Hee said with an unbelievable expression on her face.

"Madam, the ink is indeed expensive. One small bottle costs $2,000 and there were about two and a half bottle that was splashed on you." Butler Lu explained.

"Father sure is very calculating. Did I ask him to pour the expensive ink on me? He should be apologizing to me for humiliating me, but instead, he came to collect some debts, he sure is heartless!!!." Fu Hee said in anger.

"Madam, I have to go and report back to master, he is waiting." Butler Lu reminded her.

Fu Hee glared at him before picking up her phone from the glass table. Then she had him call out the old man's account number, and she transferred her debts to him.

Fu Hee showed him the evidence of the transfer before keeping her phone aside.

"I got it, Madam." Butler Lu said as he waved the phone in his hand before leaving her room. It turned out he was actually holding the old man's phone.

"What a heartless man! He really dared to threaten me with food! Father, no matter what you do, My Fu Hua can not marry that girl!." Fu Hee said through gritted teeth.
