Seeing him walk over, Jia Li sighed and moved her gaze away. He was really angry.

Fu Hua smiled as he watched her little caring actions. “Thank you,” He said as he immediately picked up the piece of braised pork and sent it into his mouth.

While chewing on it, he raised his left hand to pat Jasmine’s head adoringly.

After lunch, Jia Li was the first to leave the dining room, but before leaving, she said to Ling, “Ling, please can you watch over for a few hours, I have something important to do. Do you have anything on?”

Before Ling could reply, Fu Hee said with a big smile on her face, “Da Xia is not lacking anyone to look after her, go on and do your thing, I will take care of her. But are you feeling okay, do you want to take a nap?”

Jia Li managed a smile saying, “My stomach is not feeling well, but I want to take a bath first.”

Fu ChuHua immediately said, “If you are not feeling well, then we should call the doctor.”

”No, Aunty, it’s not serious, otherwise I won’t keep calm about it,” Jia Li replied and without waiting for any other reaction from any of them, she left the dining room.

Fu Hua who had earlier stolen a glance at her when she was complaining about her stomach, frowned at her departure.

”Hua, go and take a look at her. And help her to avoid slipping in the bathroom,” Fu Hee said with a worried gaze.

There was nothing wrong with what she said. Jia Li was heavily pregnant, and there was nothing bad with him helping her out in the bathroom, after all, they were husband and wife.

Also mentioning something like that in the dining room where everyone was present, wasn’t off at all.

Fu Hua nodded at his mother before patting Jasmine’s hair. He asked her to be a good girl before leaving their presence.

It looked like he was worried about his wife’s complaints as that was his first priority. Her complaints reminded him of what she might be going through in that pregnancy.

He thought he was taking care of her enough, but it looked like it wasn’t enough since he was not the one bearing that burden.

Thinking that a Yoga class in the evening will help relieve her stress, he walked into the bedroom and shut the door behind him.

Straight away, he made his way into the bathroom since the bedroom was empty. Immediately, he saw Jia Li standing there in her undies and staring at the bath she had drawn.

Hearing the door open behind her, she didn’t flinch or say a word for she knew who it was. After all, she had made him come there, so why would she be surprised about it?

”Do you need help? Does your tummy still feel uncomfortable?” Fu Hua asked with his hands in his pockets as he stood behind her.

Jia Li finally turned to face him and said, “Yes, I need your help. Please help me unclasp my bra and take off my panties. My hands are shaking, and I don’t know why.”

”What are you doing? Are you trying to make me all riled up and then leave me in misery?” Fu Hua asked in a deep low voice.

His tone was no longer casual, but her changed to one that conveyed his hidden dark desires.

Since he had his hand clamped over hers, Jia Li was unable to continue getting him fired up, but the next statement she made shocked him.

She looked him in the eyes and said with a small smile, “Last night, I was not in the mood because I was suddenly angry about the pregnancy and the discomfort. But this morning, I wanted to give you a good treat in the bathroom, but I knew Jasmine would come in, so I dropped that idea. The best time to get you would have been after lunch, and I’m happy it did work, although I was a little annoyed at you for sulking and ignoring me.”
