Chapter 766 Jasmine in an emergency situation

”Where did Lanying go to?” Jia Li asked with a curious gaze on the little girl.

”Aunt Lanying left not long ago. But she is weird!” Jasmin said with her gaze on her book. She had just picked up a crayon to color the football she had drawn.

It was at this point that FangSu appeared in a rush. Both mother and daughter shifted their gazes to her.

”Did you run over here?” Jia Li asked with raised brows.

”Of course, I did immediately I found out that Lanying was here all alone with Jasmine,” FangSu said as she took quick steps towards them with an ugly expression on her face.

A small smile appeared on Jia Li’s face, “I know she was here. She asked me for help, but I couldn’t do that immediately because I had to go inside to get a sharpener and a pack of crayons for Jasmine. Also, my phone was left in the bedroom.”

”Sister-in-law, I don’t trust that girl!” FangSu said in disapproval, but she got a sign from Jia Li not to speak like that in Jasmine’s presence.

FangSu glanced at the little girl who was staring intently at them, looking very curious and interested in what they were saying.

FangSu gave up on speaking ill against Lanying in front of the little girl and turned to Jia Li to whisper the words the servant heard Lanying say.

While this was going on, Jasmine felt uncomfortable in her stomach and shifted uncomfortably on her seat. But she still had her gaze on her book now.

”Why would she say that?” Jia Li asked with a slight frown as she was starting to be uncomfortable.

First, Lanying came to ask her for help but left before she could come back.

”I don’t know, that’s all the servant heard, so I immediately rushed down to check on Da Xia,” FangSu said as she shifted her gaze to Jasmine before taking a seat.

Jia Li shifted her gaze to the little girl who had an obvious frown on her face and asked, “Jasmine, did Lanying tell you to complain to me if your stomach hurts?”

Jasmine moved her gaze to her and asked in surprise, “How did you know?”

”She really sad something like that?” FangSu asked with a deep frown.

Jasmine glanced at the two women and said innocently, “Aunt Lanying did say that, and she is weird. She gave me mummy’s banana to eat as a reward for my good drawing, and then she told me to complain to her if my stomach hurts.”

Immediately Jia Li heard that, her eyes flew to the bunch of bananas in the bowl in panic. She couldn’t tell how many pieces she left behind, and because she had been eating from them, she also couldn’t tell if any were yanked from the bunch.

FangSu saw Jia Li’s reaction and became a little apprehensive and asked, “Sister-in-law, is something wrong with the banana?”

”Nothing is wrong with it, but it won’t be good for Jasmine because she has been drinking milk.” Jia Li said an anxious gaze on Jasmine.

It was then that FangSu noticed the glass of milk in front of Jasmine and looked more alarmed.

Banana and milk when eaten in the same span of time, cause food poisoning in toddlers. And even she knew about it because Jasmine was everyone’s priority in the house, so everyone knew what she could eat and could not eat, plus those she couldn’t eat together.

But given that Lanying said the little girl should tell her mother if she experiences pain after feeding her bananas, it was obvious that she knew the repercussion.

”What the f*ck!” FangSu caused out loud and she got up from her seat.

Jasmine looked a little alarmed because of her sudden action and wanted to move as well, but she felt intense pain in her stomach and clutched it with furrowed brows.

Jia Li who was already trying to connect with Jasmine’s doctor on phone, looked more panicked as she asked the little girl, “Does your stomach hurt?”

”It hurts!” Jasmine said unbearably.

FangSu rushed to her side to pat her back and comfort her.

”FangSu, I need you to call YingPei, tell him to get his car keys, we have to take Jasmine to the hospital immediately, hurry!” Jia Li said with a big frown on her face.

FangSu quickly rushed out, while Jia Li knelt beside the little girl while trying to connect to her daughter.

”Jasmine, you will be fine okay, mummy is here with you!”

The little girl managed to nod with a pained expression on her face.

Right then, her daughter finally answered her call.

”Sorry Mrs. Fu, I was in an emergency when you called, sorry for taking too long to answer your calls, is everything okay?” The doctor said in a calm manner.

Jia Li immediately told the doctor of Jasmine’s current situation and what had caused it.

”Being her to the hospital immediately, we will get things ready at this end” The doctor said in a state of urgency before ending the call.

Jia Li quickly called Fu Hua who was still in his office rounding up work.

When Fu Hua got her call, he smiled and answered it, “Did you miss me?”

This was not the mood to be teased given Jasmine’s current situation. Jia Li immediately responded almost in tears, “Please come back now, Jasmine had food poisoning,”

Immediately, the smile on Fu Hua’s face disappeared as his gaze turned anxious, “Food poisoning? How did that happen, what did she eat?”

While asking these questions, Fu Hua had already picked up his car keys and was already leaving his office.

”She ate banana and milk. Lanying gave her a banana when she was drinking milk. Fu Hua, you have to come back immediately! YingPei will take Jasmine and me to the hospital!” Jia Li said in tears just after she heard her little girl moaning in pain.

Jasmine was trying to stop herself from crying, so she wouldn’t have to worry about her mother who was already crying.
