Chapter 747 Meixu’s return

”How could you come back without informing anybody? What if your bedroom wasn’t cleaned yet?”

Meixu was bothered and showed it with her response. “If someone could start it in this family, why can it not continue?”

Meixu was talking about Fu Juan, and it was very clear. Fu ChuHua didn’t have the energy to start arguing with her and just dragged her up the stairs.

Lanying who heard their conversation sneered and walked back to her bedroom.

When it was time for dinner, Meixu and her husband, Shi Qiao, changed into a comfortable outfit and came down together. Some minutes ago, they had opened one of their luggage and shared the gifts they bought for everyone.

As for Lanying, she didn’t receive any gifts apart from wedding sweets. She sneered and had given them back to the servants who brought them to her.

Fu Juan’s gift was small compared to others, but she didn’t throw a tantrum which surprised Meixu who was expecting her to say a few words so she could put her in her place.

Fu Juan had changed, she no longer made trouble, and Meixu thought that it was good for her that she knew the right thing to do.

The reason Fu Juan didn’t make trouble was because of her grand plan which was still in the process of being carried out. And if she wanted a 100% victory, her attitude had to count.

At the dinner table, the entire family came together to have their dinner. There, Grandfather Fu welcomed Shi Qiao with a warm smile for the second time.

Shi Qiao greeted him and the rest of the smile with a warm smile, just before Meixu threw a bomb at them when Ling asked how long she would be staying.

”I heard you came with 3 pieces of luggage, how long are you going to be staying?” Ling asked curiously.

He didn’t seem to understand what was going on in the family even though he was a part of it.

Almost two months ago, their Aunt had come the same way, unannounced, and was still living with them. He really wanted to know if it was a trend now.

”You can’t wait for me to leave? Don’t worry, I won’t be going anywhere, anytime soon, just until Aunt Juan and her adopted daughter leave the house. That should be the right time for my first vacation here after marriage, to last.” Meixu said with a smoking gaze directed at the mother and daughter staring at her in surprise.

Fu Juan’s smile fell and it slowly disappeared, just the same way it came. She didn’t believe that she would have to deal with another problem in-between the process of her grand plan.

Lanying saw her mother’s change in countenance and smiled to herself. It looks like her mother didn’t want to leave the Fu house, but Meixu was up for it.

’Let’s see how this plays out.’ Lanying thought to herself.

If it was before, she would have been very angry, but times have changed, including people and situations.

She couldn’t wait to see what her mother would do to stop them from leaving.

FangSu smiled at Meixu’s question and couldn’t help showing how happy she was. She even hummed with her eyes closed after putting a spoonful of vegetables into her mouth.

Fu Juan resisted so hard not to show her anger. She clenched her fists which were hidden under the table.

Slowly, her smile appeared back on her face, and she responded with her gaze in Meixu, “That means you silk be staying here for a week and a few days more, just after Jia Li launches her second clothing collection.”

Meixu scoffed and looked away before announcing that Shi Qiao was leaving the next morning after having breakfast with them for a business trip and that he would be picking her up when he returns.

Grandfather Fu wished that he could stay another day with them, so he could become very comfortable with the family, but the business trip was important, so he didn’t let out his thoughts.

For the next few days, Jia Li was very busy at work. But because of her pregnancy, she wasn’t that active, so, Sunny had to oversee most of her creative processes.

Being pregnant with things was very different, and this was what Jia Li came to understand recently. Apart from her belly growing very fast, she got tired frequently, and couldn’t even exercise her body much.

She felt like a mummy, but she kept pushing herself. This was her work, so she couldn’t allow anyone to take the highest responsibility for it.

But Fu Hua had other plans for her. He came down to their department to ask that all help should be given to her because of her current situation, and they all understood.

At work, Jia Li didn’t try to hide her baby bump, in fact, she worked with it, and that made her colleagues wonder how she was still able to work in that condition, despite being the Boss’s wife.

This became a reason for them to admire her the more.

Currently, at the Fu house, Meixu came to find trouble with Lanying.

After knocking once on her door, she pushed it open and helped herself in. There was a big smile on her face when she met Lanying’s shocked gaze.

”Perhaps, you might be wondering what I’m doing here in your room,” Meixu said and stopped in her tracks.

Lanying slowly relaxed her facial expression and sat up on her bed. She refused to respond to her even though she was right.

She was curious to know the reason she left her comfort zone and came down to this place to find her.

”I came to see if you have started packing your things. You know, you are leaving this house in a few days, and it is only proper that you start packing your things on time, so you don’t forget a thing.” Meixu replied with a taunting gaze.

She really came to find trouble.
