Chapter 682 First-trimester pregnancy symptoms off the chart

”If I demand that you cook for me, you will complain. Don’t ask me what I want to eat.” Jia Li replied as she moved her gaze to a book in her hands.

She was currently reading a book about pregnancy, which was the same book she read when she was pregnant with Jasmine.

Fu Hua shifted close to her and said, “If you want me to cook for you, I will, as long as it’s something I can prepare. But I know you are a good wife, and wouldn’t want to overwork your husband.”

Jia Li smiled and glanced at him. “Are you trying to use my emotions because you know I wouldn’t dare to overwork you?”

Fu Hua leaned in as they could feel each other’s breath. “It’s because I know you love me so much that I have this much confidence.”

Jia Li couldn’t help chuckling softly as she reached out to pinch his nose, while Fu Fu on the other hand used that opportunity to steal a kiss.

After he leaned away, Jia Li relaxed her back on the pillow and went back to reading her book. “I’m not craving anything yet. I’m surprised that this pregnancy is very different.”

”How so?” Fu Hua asked curiously. He always thought that all pregnancies were the same, but now that Jia Li said it was different, he was very curious about it.

Jia Li folded the page she was reading and kept the book on the nightstand before replying to him, “If I didn’t see my period and didn’t use the pregnancy test kits, I wouldn’t have known that I am pregnant.”

Fu Hua gazed at her with keen interest as she continued, “I don’t have cravings, No morning sickness, and I don’t feel pregnant. It feels like I’m normal except that I haven’t seen my period.”

”Do you like the way you feel now?” Fu Hua asked.

Jia Li replied with a smile, “Yes, it’s less troublesome for me, and I feel free. It’s very frustrating to be uncomfortable. And the worst part is that there is no solution to it, you just have to live it until that phase passes by.”

”You don’t feel troubled at all that something might be wrong since you don’t have the pregnancy symptoms?” Fu Hua asked with a confused gaze.

He felt that if a woman is pregnant and doesn’t feel the signs, she should be worried, but it turns out that his wife thought otherwise. She was in fact relieved.

”I can’t be worried since it’s normal. I hope I can miss the symptoms of the first stage because I can’t deal with coupled with the next project I’m working on. I’m worried that I may take out my frustration on someone else.” Jia Li said with a pout.

The workload for her these days was something else, and for 2 more months, it will continue that way. If you add the symptoms of pregnancy in the first semester, there would be no possibility of staying sane.

Fu Hua seemed to understand her situation. He took her hands and gently squeezed her palms.

”You women sure go through a lot in this life. I will be by your side to share the burden of pregnancy with you.”

Jia Li met his gaze and smiled. She ended up hitting him tightly, but she regretted it the next minute.

Her boobs hurt after they collided with Fu Hua’s hard chest.

Squeezing her face in pain, she backed away. Fu Hua, who was about to make a joke with her, drowned and asked worriedly, “What is wrong?”

Jia Li did not reply to him, instead, her hands went I her boobs to rub them. “I think this is one sign of pregnancy in the early stage.”

”Is this time to joke?” Jia Li asked as she looked up with a deep frown.

Fu Hua glanced at her boobs before moving his gaze back to her face to say, “It’s not like you would let me touch them, what do want me to do?”

What Fu Hua is trying to say is that if he volunteered to massage them, she would not agree to it.

”Why would I let you touch them?” Jia Li said in a heavy tone as she let go of her boobs to give him a hard stare.

”Because there’s nothing wrong if I touch them, and besides, I am only trying to help ease your pain.” Fu Hua replied as he touched her jaw, but he quickly took his hand back just as she attempted to hit him.

Jia Li picked up her book and went back to reading while issuing out an order, “I want a fruit salad, don’t make it too sweet.”

’Is this a revenge plan?’ Fu Hua thought to himself as he got off the bed.

’Since you are so free, it wouldn’t be bad to send you on errands.’ Jia Li thought as she smiled to herself.

She was beginning to regret pitying him.

All Fu Hua had to do was order the kitchen to make the fruit salad to Jia Li’s taste. He also didn’t forget to tell them the fruits she liked best, so they could use them to make the fruit salad.

A few minutes later, Fu Hua served the fruit salad to Jia Li, and she happily ate them all.

Jia Li sending him to get the fruit salad didn’t mean that she wanted to eat them, but because she wanted to send him away for a moment.

After the servant came to take the bowl away, Jia Li’s alarm rang from her phone. It was a reminder to drink water.

Fu Hua smiled to himself when he heard her sigh after turning off her alarm. He also checked his wristwatch to confirm his suspicion.

”Time to drink water…” He said with a big smile.
