Chapter 181 - You Better Shut Up!

The next day while Fu Hua was away, Jia Li wasn't lonely at all, because she spent her whole day with Ocean.

When the weather got so cold, the housekeeper came to call her inside. Jia Li didn't want to let go of Ocean, who started barking at the housekeeper.

The housekeeper was scared of Ocean and so stood at a safe distance from her.

"I will be inside soon." Jia Li said as he patted Ocean's head to calm her down.

"Madam, you're pregnant, and the weather is very cold, it's not good for the fetus." The houser reminded again.

Jia Li remembered her child and stood up. Sometimes she felt she was pregnant and other times, she felt like any other normal woman out there, and today was one of those days she felt like any other normal woman out there.

Jia Li felt bad for neglecting her child and gently patted her stomach. As she tried to leave, an idea popped up in her head and a smile appeared on her face.

"Ocean, come with me." Jia Li said to Ocean before striding towards the housekeeper that has been waiting for her.

The housekeeper was scared of Ocean and quickly walked ahead of Jia Li as she asked in surprise, "Madam, are you bringing your dog inside the house?"

"Yes. Fu Hua is not in, so it shouldn't matter." Jia Li replied as she walked ahead with Ocean following after her happily.

Jia Li saw how worried the housekeeper was and assured her, "Don't worry about Ocean messing the house up, she is well trained and won't do that."

The housekeeper still didn't dare to relax. If Jia Li brings the dog into the house, how will the servants go about with their work?

Ocean was excited to be brought into the house, she barked happily but only stayed beside Jia Li as she looked around.

When she heard an approaching footstep, she barked again. The servant that was walking towards them was so scared that she turned back and went back to where she came from.

Jia Li frowned at Ocean and said to her as an instruction, "Ocean, don't bark while you're inside the house if there is no danger, just sit beside me obediently."

Ocean glanced at her with her tongue out before looking away and wagged her tail.

Seeing how obedient her dog was, Jia Li smiled satisfactorily and walked to sit in the living room to watch TV.

Ocean sat on the fluffy mat beside her and watched Tv with her. She didn't make any noise and had her gaze on the Tv. She also didn't fail to look around when she heard any sound, she was always on alert.

The housekeeper brought some hot tea for Jia Li but when she was some distance away from her, she glanced at the dog beside her and her heart rate increased.

This was the reason she wanted to serve the tea herself because no servant would dare to serve the tea when a protective dog was sitting beside her.

"Madam..." The housekeeper called for Jia Li's attention while still standing in place.

Jia Li and Ocean turned to glance at her at the same time. The smile on her face faltered. Who was the madam? The dog or Jia Li?

"Bring it over here." Jia Li sad to her with a smile.

The housekeeper walked to Jia Li's side to serve the tea in confidence. With Jia Li telling her, she could come over, she was sure the dog wouldn't do anything.

After serving the tea and snacks, the housekeeper disappeared while patting her chest. Since the strategy worked, she gathered the other servants and told them about it.

They have to call out to Jia Li before going close to her if they see Ocean around her.

Jia Li fell asleep close to the end of the movie and Ocean shifted close to her side, and no one dared to come close to her.

The housekeeper couldn't leave Jia Li to sleep on the couch just like that, but she was also scared of the dog.

Thinking that Fu Hua wouldn't be happy to see Jia Li sleeping like that on the couch without a blanket covering her, the housekeeper knew she had to do something about it.

She climbed up the stairs and came back with a blanket to cover Jia Li's body. When she approached close to Ocean who was staring at her in vigilance, she smiled and raised the blanket so she could see it.

"The weather is cold, I want to cover her with this." The housekeeper said in a soft tone because she didn't want to wake Jia Li.

Ocean stood on her feet and shifted a little for her to pass. The housekeeper smiled and went over to place the blanket on Jia Li with Ocean checking around her.

Her heart was truly in her mouth all through that moment till she left their side.

Ocean sat back in her position as continue to watch the Tv, while occasionally throwing glances at Jia Li.

This was the scene Fu Hua saw when he came back from work. He had a tight frown on his face when he saw Ocean in the living room.

He glanced at the sofa and saw Jia Li sleeping comfortably with a blanket over her body.

"She really dared to bring the dog inside my house?" Fu Hua asked with a frown as he made his way to the sofa where Jia Li was sleeping.

Ocean saw him and growled. She didn't dare to bark because of Jia Li's warning, and also because Jia Li was sleeping.

"You better shut up!" Fu Hua said to Ocean angrily before turning to Jia Li to take off the blanket from her body, as then he lifted her in his arms before striding off.

Ocean wagged her tail and followed after him.

When he got to the foot of the stairs, Fu Hua spat out three cold words and continued with the journey with Jia Li sleeping comfortably in his arms.

"Don't follow us!"

Ocean stood at the foot of the stairs and watched Fu Hua carry Jia Li up the stairs. She wagged her tail and brought out her tongue.

The servants sighed in relief that at least, their master could control the dog. Now that the two house owners had gone up the stairs, the servants couldn't leave the dog in the house, but they were still scared to approach her.
