Fu YingPei who had not yet left for work heard his mother's cries and pleadings and came over.

"This boy is learning how to be protective of his wife." Grandfather Fu muttered in a low tone. He was referring to Fu Hua and Butler Lu got the message.

"Sir, what about Master Lei, he seemed very serious." Butler Lu reminded him before the matter escalates.

"Let's go and see him." Grandfather Fu said as he stood up and walked out of his study with Butler Lu walking behind him.

Grandfather Fu came in time to see Fu YingPei pleading with Fu Lei to forgive Fu Hee.

"Dad, please forgive mum, she has already promised not to do it again, please don't send her away." Fu YingPei said to his father.

"You want me to forgive her? Does she deserve it?" Fu Lei asked while pointing at the crying Fu Hee. She sat on the floor and cried her heart out.

"Dad, please..." Fu YingPei pleaded. He was not in support of his mother's actions, but he felt that sending her back to her family was a little too much for a punishment.

"No way!" Fu Lei had just said before Grandfather Fu decided to intervene in the matter.

"Fu Lei, are you planning to bring my house down with your rage?" Grandfather Fu asked calmly as he wakes in with his hands behind him.

His facial expression looked quite serious because of the reading glasses over his eyes.

Fu Lei glanced at his old man and looked away without saying anything.

Grandfather Fu glanced at Fu Hee, who immediately ran to his side and knelt before him. She grabbed his clothes and begged him to forgive her.

"Father, please don't allow Fu Lei to send me back to the Fang family, I promise to listen to everything you say. I promise to be an obedient and respectful daughter-in-law. I promise not to interfere in Hua's marriage." Fu Hee pleaded with him as she continued to cry.
