Chapter 127 - Jia Li Flees From Fu Hua After A Hot Kiss

"I got married to Jia Li around the ending of September. So now you know that I'm married, don't call or text me anymore. If it's work-related, you know the right person to meet." Fu Hua said to her without caring about her emotions.

After a while, Feng Alix found her voice. "Why did you do this to me?" She asked as tears brimmed in her eyes.

"What did I do to you? That I got married without telling you after you abandoned our plans in pursuit of fame?" Fu Hua asked in a cold tone.

"But I asked you for time and you agreed to it, why would you do this to me, to us?" Feng Alix asked with tears in her eyes as she had her gaze fixed on him.

"When did I agree. Listen carefully, it's over between us and nothing will bring us back together. I have been waiting for you to return, so we can break up officially, just like the same way we got together." Fu Hua said without emotions.

Right now, he had no feelings for her, as everything had died away.

"Fu Hua, I don't believe you would do this to me! Did your family force you to marry that woman?" Feng Alix asked as she tried to touch Fu Hua's arm, but he dodged her.

"It doesn't matter what the truth is, go back home, and don't try to approach me again! Make use of the door!" Fu Hua said as he pointed at the door.

"How could you be so mean to me after the years we've been together? You promised not to break up with me unless I was the one that brought it up, but you went back on your words, you cheated on me, and you got married and you're only telling me about it now?" Feng Alix asked as she reminded him of the exact words he said to her over a year ago.

Fu Hua felt an oncoming headache and regretted why he made that statement. Glancing back at her, he scoffed.

"You first cheated on me. You lied to me, and then you left me hanging. You know what happens when you don't value me? You lose me. Alix, you have long lost me. And I have the right to the final interpretation of my words... you brought up the breakup with your actions, so I accepted it wholeheartedly. You may use the door now!"

Fu Hua said in a cold tone, and this time around, his gaze was fierce.

Looking at the man that was every woman's dream, and the man she managed to capture after a lot of hard work, Feng Alix saw that she couldn't recognize who he was anymore.

The times they had disagreements, he has never been so mean to her like today.

Feng Alix who has always been a strong woman, felt hot tears roll down her cheeks because it was too late for her to realize that she has lost something huge.

Not being able to tolerate the situation she can never control, Feng Alix picked up her bag and her shoes before running out of the house.

After she left, Fu Hua went to lock the door, and Jia Li finally came out of the kitchen and served the food.

Fu Hua saw the food had been served, so he went to sit down, and Jia Li joined him a minute later.

Their dinner was silent as usual.

Jia Li literally played with her food. She didn't eat much, and Fu Hua noticed it.

"Why are you not eating?" He asked with a frown.

Jia Li replied without looking at him, "I don't have much appetite."

Fu Hua didn't say anything more, because he thought she was not happy because of what happened.

After eating, Jia Li cleared their plates, while Fu Hua remained sitting on the dining seat. When Jia Li was through, Fu Hua called her over.

"Jia Li, come over here..." Fu Hua commanded.

'What's with that tone?' Jia Li thought as she made her way to him in slow steps.

When she was three steps away from him, she stopped.

Fu Hus sighed as he gazed at her face. "Are you angry?"

"No." Jia Li replied as she slowly glanced at him. Next, she tried to turn and walk away, but Fu Hua caught her hand and pulled her towards him.

Jia Li let out a yelp as she fell on Fu Hua's lap. And before she could recover from the shock, she felt two warm palms, hold her face before a slightly cold pair of lips, covered her.

Jia Li was beyond shocked by Fu Hua's action, and when she came back to reality, she tried to struggle and release herself from his grasp, but Fu Hua did not let her.

Fu Hua continues to kiss her, so she gave up struggling. Fu Hua only let her go when he considered that she was starting to get breathless.

Immediately he let her go, Jia Li fled. She ran into her room and shut the door with a loud thud, before using her body to block the door.

She was still breathing heavily as she thought back to the scene at the dining room.

She had no idea why Fu Hua kissed her so suddenly, but she was thankful she escaped quickly before he could think of swallowing her whole.

A smile appeared on Fu Hua's face when Jia Li ran away from him, but the smile did not last, as he couldn't believe he was starting to be amused by Jia Li.

Fu Hua did not stay long in the living room, because he had some work to do in his workshop, so he turned off the lights in the dining room and went to the sitting room, and there, he saw the wine Feng Alix left on the table.

By just a glance, Fu Hua recognized the wine as a very expensive wine brand, but he was not moved. He turned off the light in the sitting room before walking away with an unfazed look on his face.
