Chapter 113 - Fu Hua Allows Jia Li To Nap For A While After The Massage

"It will be very cold outside, take off the jacket and put on the coat." Fu Hua said as he handed the long overcoat to Jia Li.

"Thank you!." Jia Li said as she took it from him and put it on.

The two walked out of the room and used the stairs to go down. They saw Butler Lu just as they came downstairs.

"Butler Lu, inform Grandfather that I'm going out with Jia Li, and there is no need to wait for us during lunch." Fu Hua informed.

"Okay." Butler Lu said with a smile as he bowed.

On their way to the beauty parlor, Jia Li's phone rang, but because of Fu Hua's presence, she didn't want to answer the call.

At the third ring, Fu Hua glanced at her. "Don't you want to answer the call?."

"No, it's my friend, I will return the call later." Jia Li said in a soft tone as she put her phone on silent mode.

Fu Hua glanced back at the road and turned on the music.

Getting to the beauty parlor, Fu Hua assigned someone to take care of Jia Li while he went to another section to shop.

Jia Li had no idea she was the only one getting a massage, and she didn't know the reason he brought her to that place.

Well, Fu Hua did that because he felt guilty after he tired her out last night, so getting a massage will help her not to feel sore again.

While Fu Hua was getting a body massage, Fu Hua was shopping for beauty products for her with the recommendation of one of the beauticians in the store.

After an hour had passed, Jia Li was already asleep because her fatigued body had finally relaxed. But before she got the massage done, she played out a drama.

Jia Li was bursty so when she changed and had to lie on the bed and expose her back, her boobs were showing from the side, and she felt a bit embarrassed.

She ended up asking the person that was going to attend to her to put some clothes on her sides to cover her boobs from showing.

The attendant smiled and did as Jia Li requested that. And for this reason of being the only one getting a massage in the room, Jia Li felt at ease and relieved that Fu Hua didn't join her.

While getting a massage, Jia Li fell asleep, and the beautician had to leave her to continue resting in the room as she went out to report to Fu Hua, who told her to let Jia Li rest for a while.

So for 30 minutes, Fu Hua sat waiting for Jia Li to wake up from her nap.

When Jia Li woke up, the attendant was sitting beside her.

"How long have I been sleeping?." Jia Li asked as she sat up immediately and covered her body with the dress.

She was thinking about Fu Hua when she asked that question. With the impression she had of Fu Hua, she guessed he was capable of leaving her there.

"Almost 35 minutes. The sir you came with is waiting for you." The attendant reported as she passed Jia Li's clothes to her.

"Thank you!." Jia Li said as she sighed in relief. She only started to get dressed when the attendant left the room.

5 minutes later, Jia Li appeared before Fu Hua all dressed up. Because she just woke up from sleep, her face was yet to brighten up.

Seeing Fu Hua who had his gaze on her as she walked towards him, Jia Li apologized.

"I'm sorry, I fell asleep and no one woke me up." Jia Li said with her head bowed.

"I know. I asked them to allow you to get some sleep. Let's go." Fu Hua said as he got up and started walking ahead of her.

Jia Li was truly confused by Fu Hua's actions. She didn't know if he liked her, or he was being good to her because of Grandfather.

Next up, Fu Hua took Jia Li to a restaurant for lunch.

During lunch, he didn't let her eat too much because they still had another place to take her to.

"Do you like ice cream?." Fu Hua asked as they got into the car after having their lunch.

"Ice Cream?." Jia Li asked as she looked confused.

"I noticed you only eat home-cooked food and you don't each much when I take you out to eat, because of the way you were brought up, so I'm taking you somewhere to go try some other food." Fu Hua informed her.

"Okay." Jia Li said to him.

Fu Hua still remembered beat transported the first time he dined with Jia Li about a year ago during the time grandfather Fu was hospitalized in her hometown.

It looks like he has long been paying attention to her.

Jia Li didn't know a lot of places here because she didn't go out often. So she felt a bit relaxed as Fu Hua drove around for a while.

When they got to a famous fast food, Fu Hua took her to get some ice cream.

Jia Li didn't know if she could handle the ice cream in the cold weather, but she agreed to give it a try.

Walking into the place, she relaxed when the warm air hit her. And now she knew she could enjoy the ice cream because of how warm the inside was.

Fu Hua ordered some ice cream and other snacks for the both of them before they went to sit in one corner of the restaurant.

"Jia Li, I know you are surprised by my action of being kind to you. I'm doing this because I may not have the time to take you out again. And understanding what our relationship is like, I wouldn't want the media to know about us. I'm not interested to get any attention from them." Fu Hua explained.

Jia Li finally understood the reason he was treating her so well. She felt a little bad, but what could she do? She didn't blame him at all because they didn't lobe each other and were forced to get married.

Since he's trying to treat her well like he promised, she was already appreciative enough.
