After explaining the situation to her, she asked me to tell her all about my abilities.

While feeling a tad uncomfortable with the dirty jokes, I told her all my abilities as of the moment.

『Since you have that much, I suggest you learn【Heat Resistance】first. You don’t have to go for an S rank one. Next you can learn some powerful ice or water type skills.』

First I learned【Heat Resistance A】which cost 2,000 LP. Next are two ice type skills, as Master recommended.

【Ice Needle】cost 400 LP to create. You can use it to fire icicles much like my【Stone Bullet】. It was weak as it is so I edited it to increase their size and damage which cost an additional 1,000 LP.

【Ice Sphere】 cost 500 LP. I think it’s safe to assume that it’s the ice version of the 【Flame Sphere】skill. While the flame version burns, this one freezes. I edited the skill to increase the size and made it so that its freezing radius increases with its size as well. All in all it required another 1,200 LP.

『Both are lower-rank skills but editing them should raise their power to about mid-rank to high-rank even.』

All that cost me a total of 5,100 LP which means I’ve used almost half of my LP. It was quite the splurge, but if I master them, they should come handy in combat.

『Noir-kun, if you encounter a strong enemy, don’t hesitate to use your LP, all right?』

「I understand. We only have one life, after all.」

『Exactly!』

Her tone was cheerful. I gave her a thumbs up and said my thanks for the advice. As I was about to leave, Master stopped me, flustered, which was unusual for her.

『You should be a lot more careful from here on out. You said it’s getting more difficult as you go deeper.』

「You’re genuinely worried about me. This is unusual.」

『Oh, come on now~. I always worry about you~.』

「That didn’t sound very heartfelt though. But I’ll be more careful.」

「I’m a coward. My motto is safety first. You know that, right?」 I said, trying to ease her worries, then activated my【Dungeon Portal】to make it to the 11th floor.

As soon as I made it to the entrance, I could feel the stifling heat enveloping my whole body. Damn, it’s really sweltering in here. But thanks to my new skill, I felt a lot better than before. 【Heat Resistance A】helped one to withstand heat. It also prevented the body from overheating and sweating too much. The risk of dehydration was low. It seemed to be active longer in places like this.

The 11th floor was quite spacious, but the large boulders made it difficult to see ahead. The gray path was jagged and uneven, making it hard to walk on. To top it off, this floor had blazing magma.

All right, first things first. I have to watch out for that thing—the terrifying monster with a level over 250.
