Returning to the hotel, taking a quick shower, Virus threw himself into the king-sized bed before sinking into a deep sleep. Today's been a tiresome day for him.

"Uh… yeah, you know how I'm the branch manager of our New York branch corporation. So… I can't really stay any longer since I was ordered to return at once by my father. There seems to be something urgent going on at the company." Slightly disappointed herself by the urgency, Amara replied. If it was up to her, she wanted to stay by his side forever. But she had a company to look after. So, she couldn't.

"Hmm, if you had something urgent like that, you should've returned by yourself, Amara." He uttered these few words expressionlessly. But this made Amara slightly depressed and even sorrowful, because to her, this sentence of his made it seem like he didn't care about her being present around him or not.

Fortunately, what he stated next coerced her to feel a lot better, "Hmm… but, you're right, I've had enough fun here." Taking a pink diamond out of his pocket which he carried everywhere with himself like a lollipop, he added, "And I also have something I'm required to attend to. So… we'll return tonight. I can always come back after I'm done with my other stuff."

"Okay then."

After returning to the hotel, while Amara and the golden beauty were packing up, Virus decided to utilize the little time he had before leaving Shanghai fully. Thus, sitting down on the couch, he once again concentrated all of his awareness on the countless motes of internal energy inside him.

For the past one week or so, other than his time dedicated to sleeping, he had been trying to untwist his thirteenth disentanglement the entire time!

However… unfortunately, the only result he was faced with was… failure.

One hundred percent, absolutely, utter, failure!

He called it an utter failure because since the moment he had begun, if the entire road of disentangling the thirteenth knot completely was considered one hundred percent, in this foregone one week or so, he had only treaded a single percent of the entire path!
