Chapter 62: Brother, Take Care Of Little Brother

Feng Nai sneered. His black hair was disheveled and his nose bridge was fair and tall as he said slowly, “Trouble Lin, just you wait.”

Once he’d finished speaking, he vaguely heard the small human on the other end say in an adorable voice, “Mommy, brother told me to wait.”

In less than a second, the voice in Feng Nai’s ear changed to a very gentle one. “Nai, why are you telling Lin Lin to wait?”

“No reason.” Feng Nai restrained his bluster. Trouble Lin had even started tattling now.

It was no secret that no matter how sharp-tongued Young Master Feng was, he would never reveal it in front of his family, especially before Mrs. Feng.

“Lin Lin said that a new Little Brother has joined your battle team. He once saved his life and even baked a cake for him.” Mrs. Feng’s voice was pleasant to the ear. After all, she came from a family of musicians, so her character and disposition were exceptional. “Do take care of him.”

Feng Nai was completely roused from his sleep. He stood up while holding his cell phone and said coolly, “What era are we living in? Saved his life? As for taking care of him, I don’t think that person needs it.”

On the other end of the line, Little Lin heard his words and reached out. “Mommy, I’ll talk to him. Let me talk to him!”

Feng Nai tilted his head to the side and lit up a cigarette. He stopped in his tracks, even though he had initially wanted to head to the bathroom. There was someone else inside. It was obvious who it was.

In order to save time, he simply leaned against the wall topless. His languid posture revealed some absent-mindedness. He wanted to hear what Trouble Lin was going to tell him.

Little Lin hadn’t wanted things to come to this. After all, his brother loved to bear grudges. However, he had seen the comments of some people in the game. They had been quite upset.

Little Lin was still too young. Thus, despite expending all his brain cells, he still couldn’t understand why some people who didn’t even know Little Brother were able to use their imagination to weave a series of issues and reasons for him to quit the team.

Wasn’t gaming just about playing well?

Why did it have to be so complicated?

Could competing be making things different?

However, he’d played games with Little Brother before.

No matter how lousily he played, Little Brother never lost his temper. Instead, he had carried him to victory so many times.

After a lot of thought, he had realized the only way to prevent Little Brother from being kicked out of the team was by threatening his brother.

Thus, he began speaking confidently on the phone. “If you don’t take care of Little Brother, I will tell Little Brother that you pretended to be me while talking to him!”

Upon hearing that, Feng Nai’s pretty almond eyes narrowed slightly. The dangerous aura around him was stronger than ever now.

Upon seeing that he wasn’t replying, Little Lin felt slightly guilty. His small fingers poked around as he added, “Brother, Little Brother is a really great person. Just take care of him for a bit. Who knows, he might even make delicious food for you.”

He already had. However, Feng Nai wasn’t about to tell Trouble Lin that. He only lifted a brow and said in a very careless tone, “Are you threatening your brother for another person’s sake?”

Little Lin dropped his eyes and muttered, “I’m not threatening you. Don’t take it to heart.”

Feng Nai’s brows lifted for a moment after hearing that. Then, he blurted out mildly, “Heh…”

Little Lin changed the topic altogether. “Brother, where’s Little Brother?”

“In the bathroom.” Feng Nai had just said these three words when the half-frosted glass door on his left was pulled open. Standing there was Mo Bei, who’d just showered. Her face was handsome and cold, and water vapor was still clinging to the corner of her lips. A plain black towel was hanging from her neck, and her eyes were dark.
