Chapter 158: Settling Old Scores

He was too close.

So close that Mo Bei had absolutely no way of resisting.

Even her breath was filled with his scent.

It was a scent of tobacco coupled with the chilling smell of peppermint leaves that fell on every inch of her face.

Mo Bei swiftly pressed down on his wrist, her face looking rather blank as she said, “Captain, one’s cell phone is considered a personal belonging.”

“Since the very first day you joined the battle team, I think I told you what the rules here are.” Feng Nai turned his body, holding the phone while he retracted his left hand from Mo Bei’s pocket.

Mo Bei’s eyes shifted as her left hand moved slightly, wanting to raise his hand.

Even if it meant destroying the phone, she could not let him look at the screen.

However, he was a step faster. He raised his right hand higher, all the way above his head. His voice was still nonchalant as he said, “I’m merely using your cell phone to make a call. What? Are there any sick photos on your cell phone?”

His tone was taunting as he asked the last question.

When Mo Bei heard the words ‘sick photos’, she faltered and then said expressionlessly, “Mm… There are.”

She thought that if she answered this way, Almighty K would give up on looking at her cell phone.

“Is that so?” Feng Nai’s voice was languid. “Support Little Brother, you really have a wide range of interests. Don’t you worry, I’m not interested in those sick photos of yours. I won’t touch your photo album.”

He’d totally defined her as a sleazy male who liked to watch p*rn.

Mo Bei inhaled deeply. She did not continue to waste her words. Instead, she struck out directly.

Feng Nai’s eyes narrowed. He had absolutely no intention of fighting with the other party.

Thus, he stretched a hand out and pushed the other person down on the chair.

Then, he lifted his right hand and looked at the cell phone screen.

As if he had confirmed something, wave-like dark fog surged in his eyes before he shifted his gaze over and placed it on the other person’s face.

Mo Bei could strongly sense the hostility bursting out of him.

She recalled the comments that the online media had made about him previously.

Dark Flares’ Captain, King, has a cryptic playing style. His icy nature scorches like fire.

He’s good-looking and he appears to be nonchalant, but he is actually cold and tough. Once he counterattacks, he’s so swift, ruthless and precise that people get caught off guard.

“Support Little Brother, shouldn’t you explain this to me?” Feng Nai lowered his voice and deliberately asked, “Why is SweetDisciple’s account on your cell phone?”

Mo Bei knew that he wasn’t easy to fool so she casually straightened up. “If I said I was playing on behalf of someone else or that this was someone else’s account, you probably wouldn’t believe me, Captain.”

“Of course not.” Feng Nai threw the cell phone into the arms of the person before him. His voice was filled with indifference. “I wouldn’t believe you.”

Mo Bei put the cell phone in her pocket. She knew that she most likely wouldn’t get out of this tough spot. Instead of being on guard every day, it would be better to admit everything forthrightly. “I am SweetDisciple.”

“How unexpected.” Feng Nai pressed forward again. His wet black hair left some watermarks on his shoulder, and his slightly revealed collarbone made him look wickedly sexy. “What a big surprise.”

Surprise?

Mo Bei had just lifted a brow when Feng Nai added casually, “Lately, thanks to Panda, you’ve understood how badly I’ve been trying to find you and crush you. The person I’ve been searching for so long was right here at the base. Wouldn’t you say this is a surprise?”

Mo Bei was indeed feeling slightly guilty as her black pupils lifted. “I didn’t want to cheat you into marriage back then.”
