After picking a lot of wooden weapon, Li Shi Ying finally decide on a wooden fan with a fox picture crafted on it. The fan was painted in blue and white color, picturing a fox in a winter.

Li Shi Ying wanted this fan as a thank you gift for Jiu Wei who had take care of her for quite a long time (3 days maybe). Li Shi Ying planned to use her own money to buy this fan to show a sincere heart toward Jiu Wei.

Well the money Li Shi Ying had in her hand now wasn't her money actually. It was Jiu Wei money that Li Shi Ying shamelessly claim as her money.

Li Shi Ying asked the shopkeeper to wrap the the fan and with confident, went to pay.

The cashier said in a smile "The total is 80 silver coins, young master"

For a moment there was a silence inside the store.

Li Shi Ying hand who was about to drop her money, stopped in mid-air. Her hand trembled and her eyes opened wide like a toad eyes.

W-what? 80 silver coins? Is there a problem with her ear? Really? For a small wooden fan to actually cost 80 silver coins?

Li Shi Ying went panic. She remember that she only have 40 silver coins in her hand right now. So basically it could only pay half of the fan price.

Li Shi Ying nearly want to haggle the price but she suddenly got a brilliant idea. There was a pre-order system right? Could she pay half the price now and then told the shopkeeper to kept it for her until she came back with the rest of the money?

Unfortunately the naive Li Shi Ying didn't know that pre-order system or booking system haven't existed in this world. Even though this world had a bank system, check system and discount system, there was still no pre-order or booking system.

Li Shi Ying put on a sweet smile on her face but it was actually useless since she wore a fox mask which prevent others seeing her face moreover her sweet smile.

Li Shi Ying then said "Uncle...could i pre-order this or booked this fan? I will pay half of the price first, you keep the fan for me don't sell it to other people then i will come back soon to pay the rest of the fan price. How is it? I forgot to bring more money...."

Li Shi Ying was half-begging in front of the middle-aged cashier.

When the shopkeeper who was holding the fan Li Shi Ying bought hear that, he almost snapped the fan into two pieces.

WHAT??!! What this smelly boy just said? Paying it in half, telling him to keep the fan and that boy will come back soon to pay the rest of the money??

Is that boy crazy or idiot?

The cashier was also dumbfounded by what Li Shi Ying said. He never hear any customer suggest something bizzare like that.

"Sorry. Pay in full or don't buy any" the cashier was a middle-aged man who had quite a temper. He thought that Li Shi Ying was simply pranking him or something so he talked in a rude tone.

Li Shi Ying still insist to pay half first. After a round of 'debate' between Li Shi Ying and the cashier, Li Shi Ying finally was kicked out right in the butt by the shopkeeper.

Usually in novel novel, someone rich would come and save Li Shi Ying from the trouble but unfortunately the poor Li Shi Ying was dressed as a boy with a fox max on. Who would want to play 'hero saving the beauty' if the 'beauty' was a boy?

Moreover those scene always happened only to a female protagonist and sadly, Li Shi Ying wasn't a female protagonist. She was destined to do everything by herself and strive hard to live.

At least until her 'golden thigh', a certain dragon prince came back from his journey to the east (dragon country located at the east).

The shopkeeper was actually lucky that Li Shi Ying 'golden thigh' wasn't here right now otherwise one could imagine his reaction seeing his wife got kicked out from a third-rate weapon shop because she had no money.

Li Shi Ying fell in front of the shop with her face on the ground. Lucky she had a mask on otherwise her nose would break for sure.

Many passerby pointed at the miserable Li Shi Ying and laughed in her misfortune.
