[Yes, we want that.] The beasts nodded in agreement.

Right when he said so, a thunder sounded somewhere, startling Bng Huo and her grandpa.

"Xi Xue? What's wrong?" Bng Huo yelled, her eyes shook and one could definitely hear the anxiety in her voice.

"No, nothing, I just make an oath." Xi Xue waved his hand casually while walking toward the two. The beasts behind him were all docile, not initiating an attack whatsoever.

"Old man," The young man called before stopping in front of the old man. "I already tame these beasts but they have 2 wishes that must be fulfilled."

Just by hearing that the beasts were all tamed, Bng Yan almost fainted on the spot. The old man staggered and Bng Huo caught him.

"Grandpa!"

"No, I'm okay." Bng Yan tried to stand up and took a deep breath. He looked at Xi Xue and glanced at the calm beasts behind him.

"Tell me what are the wishes."

"They just want an equal contract and they want to be the one picking their master." Xi Xue shrugged casually. "They're all almost becoming a divine beast, don't you think this is fair?"

Bng Yan paused a bit and nodded. "I'm going to give these beasts to the students anyway so if they want to choose their masters"

"That will be for the best." Bng Yan rubbed his beard. "This way the one getting the beast will be an exceptional one and worthy to be the master."

"Yep and don't forget the equal contract. If the contract isn't equal, I won't let them be contracted," Xi Xue threatened. "They are not fully tamed yet so.."

"Yes, I understand. I will make sure the beasts get an equal contract," The old man interrupted. "You can leave it to me."

Xi Xue blinked and nodded. "I believe you because of Bng Huo." The young man looked at the girl and winked. "She- he is my precious friend."

Bng Huo instantly blushed. The girl glared at Xi Xue who had a playful smile but then she couldn't help but giggle. "So, grandpa, Xi Xue pass the test, right?"

"Of course! He's so exceptional to tame so many beasts at once." Grandpa Yan nodded like mad. "I'll put him in beast tamer section, the elite class."

"You hear that? Elite class!" Bng Huo eyes brightened. She dashed toward Xi Xue and shook his hand.

"Elite class? What's that?" Xi Xue glanced at the hand being hold by Bng Huo and bit his lips. The man then tilted his head acting innocent.

"Elite class, only 7 will be chosen each year for each department, " Bng Huo explained while releasing Xi Xue's hand. "So you are really an honourable student!"

"Ah, I see." Xi Xue only nodded, not showing any excitement on his face. "What about you? Are you an elite student too-"

"Of course! I'm an elite student in the alchemist department." Bng Huo lifted her chin. "But that's not because my grandpa is the headmaster, okay?" Bng Huo warned.

Seeing the girl in disguise as a young boy was acting all high and might, Xi Xue couldn't help but chuckle. He stretched his hand and rubbed Bng Huo's head.

"Okay, okay, senior sis- brother is the best." Xi Xue messed up Bng Huo's head with a mischievous smile on his face. "Though I wish I can be in the same department as yours."

"Ish, don't mess up my hair!" Bng Huo kicked Xi Xue's leg and pouted but one could see she wasn't really mad.

Seeing the two people bickering with each other, grandpa Yan squinted his eyes.

'Why do I feel that Xi Xue is acting differently toward my granddaughter...does he knows her true gender' The old man rubbed his beard again.

'Or maybe he is gay? He definitely looks interested in my granddaughter.'

"Lads, come here, " The old man suddenly called, trying to separate the two. He stood in front of Bng Huo and looked at Xi Xue.

"You are accepted. Now you can go to the beast tamer department."

"Ah? Thanks-"

"Huo'er, you can escort him to his department and the rest will be handled by the others." Grandpa Yan patted his granddaughter back before whispering to her,

"Xi Xue doesn't know you are a girl, right?"

"No, he doesn't." Bng Huo hurriedly shook her head while glancing at Xi Xue. The young man suddenly smiled while waving his hand, having fun as usual.

"But the way he looks at you is a bit strange-"

"Nah, Xi Xue is just eccentric. Don't worry." Bng Huo shrugged. "That guy is playful. He's mischievous, that's all."

'There's no way Xi Xue will fall for me when we just meet yesterday.'

"...alright then go, take that guy to his department." Grandpa Yan backed off and hastily left the youngster.
