Long Ao Zhen looked at his children's location and chuckled.

He could still detect his children's presence and pinpoint their location even when their technique was already good.

Why was that? Simply a father's instinct can't be underestimated.

He couldn't hear what these two were talking about but he knew for sure they're up to no good.

'Why my children are all naughty?' Long Ao Zhen silently sighed while waiting for the twins to launch their attack.

The next second just like what the man predicted, the twins jumped.

Long An Lie shoved the cake she brought, right to Long Ao Zhen's face while Long Ye S stole his father's documents.

Both of them disabled the soundproof barrier and shouted,

"Gotchu!"

The children's laughter rang throughout the room followed by Long Ao Zhen's faint smile.

"What did you do ah." The man snapped his finger and the cake on his face disappeared. He even washed his face right away using his cultivation energy.

Seeing the man didn't even get flustered, Long An Lie couldn't help but shouted, "Eh, that's not fair!" She climbed Long Ao Zhen's desk and jumped to his lap.

"How is it not fair?" Long Ao Zhen's voice softened as he caught the little devil and glanced at the other devil who was reading his documents.

The boy was still small yet he already understood some of the kingdom's business. Didn't know where he got that kind of brain.

"Daddy shouldn't clean your face!" Long An Lie stomped her feet to Long Ao Zhen's lap as she looked at her twin brother who was sitting on the working table.

She saw the boy was writing something on the documents and couldn't help but ask, "Ye'er what are you doing?" Long An Lie tilted her head in confusion.

She thought they were here to pull a prank on father.

"I'm fixing the documents. There are still a lot of mistakes." Long Ye S casually answered as he kept writing.

Hearing this, Long Ao Zhen could only laugh awkwardly and decided to let his son do anything he wanted.

"Ah, right, dad. I saw that old fox when we come here." Long An Lie suddenly spoke, "What was his business?" The girl hugged Long Ao Zhen's neck as she swayed like a koala.

"Oh, that old Tian? As usual, marriage." Long Ao Zhen answered ambiguously instantly making Long An Lie hit his cheek.

"Did you just match me with him??" The girl who read too many novels shouted. She glared at her father and her eyes were showing disappointment as if she was betrayed.

Seeing this, Long Ye S almost coughed on his saliva.

"Y-you expect our father to match you with an old man?!" Long Ye S hit the table as his shoulders shook.

He clutched his stomach not believing his twin sister to be so dramatic.

Long Ao Zhen himself covered his mouth, holding back his laughter while saying, "It's not you. It's Mao Mao. I engaged him with old Tian's daughter."

The Emperor thought that his daughter would be relieved but to his surprise, she reacted even stronger than before.

"Whaaat?! You engaged uncle with an unknown b*tch??" The girl hopped back to the table and slammed it, looking dramatic.

This time, Long Ye S also didn't stay silent. He stopped writing and looked at his father with a questioning gaze.

Started, Long Ao Zhen blinked twice while staring at his daughter's golden eyes.

'Since when she knows the word b*tch?' was what he thought when Long An Lie shouted again.

"Dad, you can't engage uncle Mao with someone else! What if he already likes a girl??" The girl bit her lips recalling those tragic stories of novels she often read.

"You will be separating a lover!" The young girl spoke again, looking righteous as she clenched her fist tight.

"Yes, father, how could you do that?" Long Ye S nodded, agreeing with his twin sister.

He too wouldn't want to be engaged to others if he didn't want it. The same goes for his sister. If one day he became the emperor, he won't let his sister got engaged if she didn't love the guy.

Hearing his children protested, Long Ao Zhen casually shrugged, "Mao Mao isn't as weak as you thought, " he inhaled, "If he loves someone he will come to me and ask to annul the engagement."

The man added, "That's how I will know whether he already likes someone or not, understand?"

Long Ao Zhen stretched his hand and patted Long An Lie with his right hand while patting Long Ye S with the other hand.

The children paused, blinked their eyes and only then sighed in relief.

"That's good, then!" Long An Lie snuggled back to Long Ao Zhen's arm while Long Ye S went to finish the documents again.

"Well, well, talking about engagement, you two have to get ready for the party, " Long Ao Zhen picked the children by the back of their collar, "You will meet various noble kids around your age there."

He added, "Most of them would be from other kingdoms such as the Phoenix kingdom, the pegasus, the unicorn and such!"

"Party again?? No-" Long An Lie had just about to protest when Long Ao Zhen was all smile as he leaned closer to Long An Lie.

"You might find your prince charming there, " Long Ao Zhen whispered to his one and only daughter.

Instantly, her eyes immediately brightened and a smile bloomed on her face, not because she was excited to see her prince charming.

'Party...uncle Mao and his fianc would be there too, right?'
