The expedition team went on a journey for a week and finally, they arrived at the Phoenix kingdom.

"Wah...so this is the Phoenix kingdom!" Fen Wn exclaimed excitedly as she looked out. Her eyes were instantly filled with red everywhere.

The buildings have a fire element on it and the dominant colour was red and orange, imitating the royal family's feather colour.

Unlike the Long Kingdom that had diverse building style, the buildings at Phoenix kingdom were similar to each other creating a neat and ordered city.

It was aesthetically pleasing. The visitors would feel like they're entering a fire realm or something.

"You can take off your coat, " Mao Mao suddenly told Fen Wn as he took off his own coat.

The young man had studied the Phoenix kingdom in advance thus he knew that the kingdom was surrounded by magma mountains making the temperature warm or hot throughout the year.

"Y-yes, " Fen Wn hurriedly followed Mao Mao's suggestion and took off her coat. She silently thought, 'No wonder it's hot all of sudden.'

Since the Phoenix kingdom was always warm, they only had two seasons. Summer and rainy. It's a tropical kingdom, unlike the Long Kingdom that had 4 seasons in a year.

Seeing the two took off their coat, Tian Rong also followed suit. The girl slowly stripped her fur coat showing her slightly tight dress inside.

The dress she wore wasn't a typical dress with a fluttering skirt. The skirt was an hourglass model but it was long enough to cover her legs.

The sleeve was still the same as usual dress, long and wide enough to hide something but the collar and the chest area was different.

It was modelled so it could enhance one's body curve without being too impolite.

Seeing Tian Rong's violin-like figure, Fen Wn suddenly lowered her head and shut her mouth. The girl looked at her own chest and felt that she was too flat-chested!

'Men like big boobs, right?' Fen Wn innocently thought.

The girl peeked at Mao Mao thinking like that but to her surprise, Mao Mao wasn't looking at Tian Rong. He was staring at her instead!

Flustered, Fen Wn subconscious shifted back, distancing herself from Mao Mao. Still, even after she did so, Mao Mao was still openly staring at her while leaning to the carriage wall.

Couldn't bear it anymore, Fen Wn asked in a shaky voice, "M-master...is there anything wrong with me" she lowered her head right after asking.

"...no, nothing is wrong." Mao Mao paused a bit, "It's just...I will attend a various meeting there so" Mao Mao stopped for a second.

"Once we arrive, you can play by yourself, " Mao Mao continued as he turned around looking out to the window.

The young man still looked composed and charismatic as a prime minister but one could sense a tinge of disappointment in his voice.

Of course, only Tian Rong realized.

'Is he sad because he can't spend time with this lady?' Tian Rong subconsciously thought.

She couldn't help but look at Mao Mao and gazed back at Feb Wn.

These two really looked like a couple. Could it be they're already in a relationship?

Tian Rong bit her lips and suddenly spoke before Fen Wn could answer, "Your excellency, what about me?" She tilted her head and blinked innocently.

Her words meant that if the maidservant could play around what about the noble girls? Surely they would attend a meeting with other nobles from Phoenix kingdom.

There should be a ball arranged for the young generation to meet each other and might as well getting engaged.

The purpose of the expedition was to allow inter-race marriage and not making it taboo anymore.

Hearing this, Mao Mao knitted his eyebrows, "You're a noble. You will attend various parties, no need to ask."

'This girl is just straight dumb.' Mao Mao silently thought, still annoyed by the girl's action to Fen Wn before.

Not wanting to give up, Tian Rong tucked her hair behind her ear and leaned forward, showing her tight, bulging chest,

"But your excellency...I thought father said your excellency will accompany me?" She spoke in a coy voice as a smile bloomed on her face.

Even though she didn't want to seduce this young man, she was more afraid of her father. Anyway, sooner or later the young man would be engaged to her.

If she could get on his good side, it would be alright even if his heart belonged to someone else.

She could slowly make him forget that maidservant and made him fall for her.

Mao Mao furrowed, his eyes darkened. In a cold voice, he said, "I'm busy. Someone will accompany you instead."

His direct refusal shocked both Fen Wn and Tian Rong.

Fen Wn who was silent all this time couldn't help but clap in her heart.

'Good job, Mao Mao!' She cheered happily. She had disliked the girl in front of her ever since she took off her coat and showed off her curvy body.

She was worried that this fox would seduce Mao Mao but to her surprise, Mao Mao didn't look interested at her at all.

That's good!

Being rejected twice, Tian Rong's face flushed red. The girl clutched her skirt tightly and went silent.

'Who wants to be with a weak sacred beast if not for his status?!' Tian Rong cursed in her heart.

Just like that until they arrived at the large inn prepared for them, Tian Rong didn't try anything funny anymore but
