"I want to pass by somewhere." Li Bingbing said after putting her suitcase in the trunk.

"Okay. Give me the address." Su Lei closed the trunk and went to the driver's seat.

Li Bingbing went in the car and put on her seatbelt. "Xia company."

When Li Bingbing arrived, she went directly to Xia Sinian's office and she saw him on his desk.

Xia Sinian was surprised when he saw Li Bingbing. Why did his secretary not notify him about her presence?

"Sinian!" Li Bingbing stomped her way to him. "Tell me the truth. Are you sick? Is this the reason why you broke up with me?!"

Xia Sinian was staring at her in surprise. "How did you... find out?"

Li Bingbing's eyes became misty. She went over him and hugged him. Her tears fell on him. "Please... please don't lie to me anymore."

Xia Sinian clenched his fists tight. The real reason why he broke up with her was because he was sick. If one day he'll leave, he knows Li Bingbing will be in so much pain. To avoid that, he broke up with her. He wanted her to love someone else so that once he leaves, the pain she'll experience will be less. He tried his best to bring his family business on top. He worked hard to make a name for himself so that no one will forget him. In the end, he never expected that Li Bingbing will find out about his condition sooner than he expected.

After she found out that Xia Sinian has cancer. Li Bingbing started giving it a thought when Lu Xian Yu dragged her away. Li Bingbing finally realized why Xia Sinian broke up with her.

She looked at him and held his cheeks, making him face her. "Do you really think that... I'll stop loving you just because you broke up with me? All these years... I never stopped, Sisi."

Xia Sinian knows this. With Li Bingbing knowing the truth, he couldn't bring himself to push her away. "Bingbing, let's stop this. You'll just get hurt in the end."

"DO YOU THINK I'M NOT HURT, RIGHT NOW?!! SO WHAT IF YOU'RE SICK?! SO WHAT IF YOU'RE DYING?!" Her tears fell on his face. "I... I will not stop loving you, Xia Sinian... even if it hurts... I have always loved you. You want me to love someone else but that someone else can only be you! You don't want me to get hurt but I'm already hurting so much, so what's the point of all of this? Please Sinian... don't push me away anymore."

Xia Sinian stared at her crying face, her warm tears were falling on his cheeks. Seeing her like this made him feel like someone was squeezing his heart. He stood up from his seat and pulled her against his chest. "I'm so sorry... I'm so sorry, Bingbing."

"T-that's not what I want to hear! Tell me... Tell me, Xia Sinian..." She paused and raised her head to look at his face. "You still love me, right? Right?"

He cupped her cheek gently and bowed his head, giving her forehead a kiss. "Aside from you, who else can I love?"

With those words, Li Bingbing's tears were uncontrollable. She started crying out loud like a small kid. "Don't leave me! Don't leave me! Don't leave me!"

This was the promise that Xia Sinian cannot give her even if he wants to. He didn't say a word but he hugged her close instead. This was what he feared the most. He has already accepted that he will die soon but with Li Bingbing in his arms, Xia Sinian starts wanting to live longer for her... but he knows that this wishful thought of his was impossible.

His tears fell as he kept on holding her close. They can't be together forever but even if it's just for a short time, he wants to be with her. He wants to hold her just like this until the end of his days.

They stood there, crying for so long. When they calmed down, Xia Sinian decided to bring Li Bingbing in his suite to stay with him since she told him she was going to live somewhere else.

"Bring me with you." Li Bingbing said the moment she steps in his place. "You're going to Philadelphia for your medication, right? Take me with you. I want to go with you."

Xia Sinian turned to their hands that were intertwined together. "Are you sure that you still want to be with me?"

"I want to be with you for the rest of your life."

Xia Sinian's eyes softened at this. The cold and blank face he was giving her was gone. It was just like back then, he would always give her a soft and gentle look. He leans and kissed her lovingly on her lips.

Lu Xian Yu didn't return to his place that day since he was busy with torturing Bai Xiu Ying and Hu Bingxi after he captured them.

They were brought to one of Lu Xian Yu's torture grounds. In the basement prison, the smell of blood was strong and cries of pain were heard.

Some of the cells were filled with wounded and decapitated men. Their eyes filled with fear and anxiety. They were not allowed to die even if they wanted to. Their slow deaths were making them go crazy.

"AHH!!" A man's scream was heard.

"What a pussy. I just removed his nail." A man in a suit sighed. "Others can do better than him."

"Please... please, I'll tell you anything. Let me go." Hu Bingxi begged. His legs were broken and he felt an intolerable pain in his body.

"Continue." Lu Xian Yu said to the man in the black suit.

"What should we do to her, young master?" The man standing beside Lu Xian Yu asked.

"For now, let her watch."

"Lu Xian Yu! My grandfather will not forgive you and your family for doing this!" Bai Xiu Ying was chained against the wall, her face wet with tears.

A creepy smile appeared on Lu Xian Yu's lips. His eagle-like eyes were staring coldly at her. "You tried to kill my sister-in-law. You need to know the consequence of trying to hurt one of the members of the Lu family."

The way Lu Xian Yu looked at her made Bai Xiu Ying cower in fear. "I-I learned my lesson so please let me go."

"I don't hurt women but my men do." Lu Xian Yu turned away and left the cell. The moment he went out of the basement, his phone vibrated.

He looked at the message and his eyes darkened because of it. "So now, she's using my brother against me?" Lu Xian Yu ended up laughing because of this. Li Bingbing was definitely using her brain to go against him. "It looks like I need to get stricter with you, Li Bingbing."
