For some reason, Lu Xingyan felt as if she just confessed to him. She couldn't help but feel all shy all of a sudden as Han Xukun looked at her in surprise, with a mixture of disbelief.

"N-never mind... If you don't want to then-"

Her lips were sealed and she was cut off from what she was saying when the man attacked her lips. He only gave her a short, rough kiss before pulling back a bit just to say, "I will do it with you after you graduate."

After she graduates? Her shoulder shrunk in disappointment.

"What if I change my mind? What if I don't want to do it anymore?"

The side of his lips curled up into a small smile since that was the point. He was giving her that much time to think about it if she really wanted to give her first to him. He also thought that it should be enough time for her to fall in love with someone else.

At the thought of letting her fall for someone else, Han Xukun felt like he was been stabbed in his chest. Imagining her with someone else... he didn't like it.

"You..." Lu Xingyan paused. She was looking straight into his eyes as if she was able to realize what he planning without hearing it from him. It was as if she was able to read his mind just by looking into his eyes.

She pulled away and sighed in defeat, "fine, let's not do it anymore."

The mood was already spoiled by him and she has already given up since he was this persistent.

He grabbed the blanket from the floor and wrapped her body with it without saying a word before he stood up and went to the bathroom to deal with his erection which the girl didn't notice.

Lu Xingyan was facing the chimney, watching the fire dance on the burning wood.

It became quiet in the room, only the sound of heavy rain pour was heard.

The creaking of a door was heard when Han Xukun finally went out of the bathroom. This time, he didn't sit beside her. Instead, he made sure that there was a safe distance between them.

Lu Xingyan open her mouth and spoke, "you know... after this night, won't we be embarrassed to face each other?"

She knew for sure that she would. It was the first time that she became so exposed to the opposite sex. Aside from that, they kissed... It would be hard to act as if nothing happened between them the next day.

"We probably should just act as if this night didn't happen..." She said to him as she continued to watch the fire dance.

"Why should we?" Han Xukun turned his head to look at her.

She bit her lower lip, she could still sense the warmth and remember how he kissed her earlier. She brought her knees together and wrapped her arms around them under the blanket.

"Then how do you even want me to act around you?" She rested her cheek on her knees as she looked at him that way.

The sight of her looking at her in that position somehow made Han Xukun's heart skip a beat. She was beautiful, the gentle features, her soft eyes that reflected his figure on them once again gave him an urge to hold her in his arms. Ah... She was truly driving him crazy right now. He was already having a hard time trying to hold back. He turned away and instead, he said, "we should get some rest. You can sleep on the bed."

She could see how much he was trying to hold back which made her chuckle inwardly. How adorable.

Instead of going to the bed, she moved close to him and rested her head on his shoulder. She whispered as she closed her eyes, "this is better."

"Lu Xingyan..." Han Xukun warned. He was already having a hard time.

She straightened her back and looked at him with a small smile as she said, "you've been sitting shirtless since earlier, here, it'll be bad if you catch a cold." She shared the blanket with him.

Feeling her soft skin against his made his jaw hardened. He was resisting. He was about to say something but in the next second, she felt his hug from the side. She snuggled close to him like a kitten, resting her head on his chest.

"You're warm..." She whispered ever so softly.

He sighed in defeat, it was hard to push her away when she was being like this.

"You're enjoying this, aren't you?" He wrapped his arms around her, securing her in his embrace.

She chuckled, "mm, maybe I am, maybe I'm not?"

"Guess you can be a bit naughty too huh?"

She smiled a bit and closed her eyes once again as she found herself in a comfortable position. A soft yawn escaped her lips when sleepiness finally found its way in her.

Han Xukun ended up heaving a long sigh. It was the first time he has held a woman this way and shared each other's heat. "Get some rest."

"Good night..."

As Lu Xingyan finally drifted off to sleep in his arms, Han Xukun stayed awake and was able to finally give this situation a thought. He has really never thought of getting himself engaged with this kind of relationship but as he started into her angelic sleeping face, it somehow made him want to change his mind about it. This innocent girl... he was sure that she has a lot of things that she was curious about. Aside from that, he was somehow amazed by how fast she was able to cope up after what happened to her. As expected, she really was a member of the Lu family. If it was an ordinary person, it would take time. They wouldn't leave their rooms and roam around a place they don't know. Lu Xinyan sure caught his interest.
