"What are you waiting for? Leave."

Ren Shiyuan sighed inwardly. This was going to be hard for him. He took his sling bag and walked towards the door. "Just so you know, this has always been my disguise to escape from the reporters."

"Oh?" Nian Jiezhen turned to him with a blank look on her face. "If that's the case, then why didn't you tell me?"

"I never tell my real gender to anyone, I let them find it out themselves." He took his coat and wore it. "I never lied to you. I never said that I was a woman. I never admitted it even once. But except from that everything I've told you was real."

Nian Jiezhen lowered her head and sighed. He was right, it was she who assumed that he was actually a girl. She never suspected him to be a man even with all the pieces of evidence before her.

"Nian Jiezhen, I was really serious when I told you that I want to try dating you."

She raised her head and looked at him with a blank look on her eyes. "Are you done? Will you take your leave now?"

Ren Shiyuan felt a painful prick in his heart when he saw her looking at him that way. The adorable and sweet girl that was he was flirting with earlier was gone.

Xia Meilin was about to take a nap when Nian Jiezhen suddenly came in her room. "Did you know?"

She sat up and looked at Nian Jiezhen. "Huh?"

"Ren Shiyuan is a guy. Did you know that?" Nian Jiezhen asked coldly as she crossed her arms.

"Oh..." She lied down on her bed again and hugged a pillow. "Yes, I do."

Nian Jiezhen narrowed her eyes and gritted her teeth. "Why didn't you told me?"

"You never asked. Besides, we were never friends in the first place so why should I tell you? It's not my fault that you've mistaken him for a girl."

She clenched her fists tight as she continued on glaring at Xia Meilin. Even if Xia Meilin was telling the truth, Nian Jiezhen felt annoyed by her.

She turned and shut her door with a bang!

Nian Jiezhen was feeling so frustrated. All this time, she was feeling confused and at the same time, she didn't know what to do.

What should she do now? Why was she feeling so suffocated? Why was her chest in pain?

The day of the fashion show finally came and on that same day, Nian Jiezhen was preparing to go to work.

When she was about to leave, Xia Meilin went out of her room, all dressed up. "Ah, Nian Jiezhen, can you drop me by first?"

Nian Jiezhen took a glance at her before she turned her back to her. "Okay."

They left the place together and Nian Jiezhen accompanied Xia Meilin to the D & G Kings fashion house.

The place was filled with a couple of famous people. Ren Shiyuan reserved two seats for them and it was in the front row.

After accompanying Xia Meilin to her seat, Nian Jiezhen said, "I will be going off to work. Just give me a message if you want me to pick you up."

"You won't be watching?"

"I have work."

"Come on, they won't mind if you got late for a bit, right? Besides, this is your first day so they won't be that strict to you."

Nian Jiezhen took a peek on her wristwatch and sighed in defeat. "Fine. I'll accompany you for thirty minutes."

Xia Meilin couldn't help but sigh in relief when she was able to make her stay. Ren Shiyuan kept on pestering her for the previous days, telling her to force Nian Jiezhen to come to the fashion show no matter what.

The male models were lined up on the stage and one by one, they started strutting down a long runway. The models would pause at the end, turn and walk back as the next comes out.

All of them were wearing an elegant, tailored tuxedos and suits. Most of them were foreign but what caught Nian Jiezhen's attention was when she saw Ren Shiyuan walking forward with a king's presence around him.

He was so handsome, he looked more manly with the serious look on his face. He was wearing a white suit with a white cashmere coat over his shoulders.

Since Xia Meilin and Nian Jiezhen was sitting right in front of the runway, Ren Shiyuan could easily see them. Instead of looking at Xia Meilin, his eyes fell on Nian Jiezhen as he paused at the end to pose. He let out a sexy and seductive smirk as he locked his eyes on Nian Jiezhen.

When the women around saw him smirk, it struck their hearts and they were instantly captivated by this raven-haired Asian man.

He turned and started walking away, heading to the backstage for a change of clothes.

Nian Jiezhen felt her heart beating so fast, she felt like it was about to burst when she locked her eyes with Ren Shiyuan earlier. She couldn't bring herself to turn away from him.

Xia Meilin noticed the way Nian Jiezhen looked. She was still staring at the stage as if waiting for Ren Shiyuan to come out.

Once again, Nian Jiezhen was captivated by Ren Shiyuan and this time, it was in his male form.
