Xia Sinian shook his head, "Nothing." He leaned down and kissed her forehead before he turned and looked at the screen.

Seeing how her brother looked at her, Xia Meilin smiled. He wanted to talk privately with Li Bingbing and because of that, Xia Meilin decided that she should probably end the call. "I'll give you two a call later, okay? Bingbing, make sure you eat plenty of healthy food."

Li Bingbing furrowed her brows. "Are you seriously telling me that? Don't you know how this brother of yours is actually trying to turn me into a vegetarian? I want meat! MEAT!"

Xia Sinian patted her head with an amused smile on his lips. "I thought that you love my cooking?"

"I do! But I would love them more if you cook meat too!"

Xia Meilin laughed lightly as she watched the two bicker with each other.

She sighed as she suddenly missed Lu Yifeng. For some reason, she was thankful that Lu Yifeng was giving her a bit of consideration whenever it comes to food. She knows how strict her brother can get that's why she couldn't help but feel sorry for Li Bingbing.

"I should end the call now, ge ge, Bingbing." Xia Meilin said. "Let's talk some other time. I don't want the food to turn cold."

Xia Sinian chuckled. "Okay. You can give us a call tomorrow." He said softly.

"Okay, see you later, ge ge, Bingbing."

"Hn, see you later."

Li Bingbing was pouting when she looked at her. She was obviously displeased because of the topic of food they just had. "I'll chat you up later."

After the video call ended, Xia Meilin went to her bed and lied down on it. She stared at her phone's wallpaper... it was a photo of Lu Yifeng, Little Melon, and her.

Little Melon was smiling brightly on the photo and the smile he had on his face was similar to Xia Meilin's beaming smile. Meanwhile, Lu Yifeng had a small soft smile in his lips with his eyes filled with warmth.

It has just been a few hours and yet, she was already missing them. She closed her eyes and hugged a pillow. Her bed was cold and empty, she missed their warmth around her.

"It's still snowing outside." Nian Jiezhen said as she took a look on the window. "Won't you be late for your work?"

"Who said that I have work?" Ren Shiyuan was sitting on the sofa in comfort while he was tapping the screen of his phone..

"You said that you have somewhere you should be earlier." She walked towards her and peeked to see what he was doing on his phone... he was playing a game.

Ren Shiyuan turned to her and smiled. He kept his phone before he reached out to her and made her sit on his lap. "I did say that." He grinned at her. "And I'm already here."

"How about your work?" Nian Jiezhen couldn't help but ask as she looked at his beautiful face.

"I wouldn't be here right now if I'm not free, " said Ren Shiyuan as he stared back at her. His hands were on her legs, caressing them in a loving way.

"Oh, that's good then." She placed her hand on his chest to grope his breast but for some reason, she found his chest too soft... as if there was nothing under his bra other than the pads.

"Hey, what do you think are you doing?" He lightly slapped her hand away. To be honest, he was not afraid that Nian Jiezhen will find out that he was actually a guy. The only thing he wanted was for Nian Jiezhen to find it out herself.

The reason why he allowed this to prolong was because he finds it amusing to see her troubled face.

Nian Jiezhen's brows met and a wrinkle was formed on her forehead. "Don't tell me..." She trailed off as her eyes landed on his chest.
