"Mm?"

"I love you."

Lu Yifeng turned his head and looked at Xia Meilin in surprise.

Why was he surprise? It was because this was the first time Xia Meilin told him the words he never expected to hear from her.

She stared into his eyes and smiled. Her heart was beating fast and she could feel her face heating up.

Did he heard the right words? Was it just his imagination?

Xia Meilin touch his cheek and move her face close to him. "Thank you, for being my husband. There are times where I couldn't help but doubt your kindness... but, you prove me wrong everytime. You are truly a wonderful man."

"The words you said earlier, is it true?" Lu Yifeng asked, his eyes were like sparkling in the dark room they were in. His eyes were like a the city lights, shining in the evening.

"Of course, it is. Do you think I'm-"

Xia Meilin was cut off when her lips were captured by Lu Yifeng. His cold lips moved against hers. He was kissing her passionately, pouring his feelings through it.

This was a day he never thought will come. Xia Meilin just said that she loves him and hearing this words from her made an overwhelming warmth grow in his chest.

When the kiss broke, Xia Meilin was left breathless. Her face was in deep shade of red but since it was dark, her red face wasn't obvious.

The only light that filled the room was the moonlight that entered through the window.

An ambiguous atmosphere filled the room. Lu Yifeng was staring closely at Xia Meilin and she was staring back at him. No one said a word, as if the both of them could tell what the other is thinking just by staring at each other.

Lu Yifeng's lips curled up. "Say it again."

She covered her blushing face on his chest. "It's embarrassing..."

"I want to hear you say it." He hugged her waist close. "Come on, say it again."

"I love you..." She whispered shyly.

"Again."

"I love you."

"Again."

She raised her head and looked at him. She pouted her swollen lips, "Mr. Lu, are you deaf?"

"Maybe I am. So say it again." He said with a smile. "Say it louder so that I can hear it."

He still couldn't believe that she was saying those words to him. He feels like he was dreaming. Was this all real? If this is just a dream then he wants to continue on dreaming such a beautiful dream forever. He doesn't want this dream to end.

She leans to him and bit him lightly on his cheek.

He laughed lightly at this and didn't complain. When she pulled away, a bite mark was on his cheek.

"Darling, I'm hungry."

"Should I undress?" He smirked as he looked at her.

Xia Meilin pursed her lips as she lightly glared at him. "I want to eat!"

"You can eat me." He leaned and kissed her by her neck. "Or should I eat you instead?"

"Mr. Lu!" She pinched his arm.

Despite this, he didn't pull away from her, he continued on kissing her neck, marking her there.

She bit her lower lip to suppress a moan, "Yifeng..."

After successfully marking her, he faced her. "You already ate earlier."

"I'm hungry again..."

He kiss her cheek before he leaned away from her and got out of the bed. "What do you want?"

"Apples please." She grinned happily at him as she sat up.

Since it was a fruit and light for the stomach, Lu Yifeng went downstairs to get her some. He sliced it neatly and placed it on the plate before he went back to his bedroom.

When he entered the room, Xia Meilin was holding sitting on the side of the bed and was holding his long belt.

"Why are you holding that?"

"In case of emergency." She smiles at him. She hangs the belt on the headboard.

He sat beside her. "Here's your apples."

"Feed me?" She grinned at him.

"I thought children below five years old are the only ones that are supposed to be fed? Our son is better than you, he's four and yet he can eat by himself." He chuckle, matching the sexy tone in his voice.

Xia Meilin glared at him. Is his EQ low? Can't he see that she was just trying to be sweet with him?

She turned away from him and started eating the slices of apples.

Lu Yifeng smiled. He leaned and hugged her from behind, he rested his chin on her shoulder. "Are you mad?"

She was quietly eating her apples, ignoring him.

"Sweetheart, you-"

Xia Meilin placed a piece of apple in his mouth to shut him up.
