Chapter 021: The Decided On Path Forward

Within Lamdrion, Vivian might not be the strongest adventurer, but he was the leader of the best adventuring party.

Plus, every member of this party were under Vivian’s care when they were newbies themselves. It’s because of Vivian’s directions that they’ve managed reached where they currently are, as one of Lamdrion’s top adventurers.

In addition, due to Vivian’s gentle and kind demeanor, she has trained quite a few newbies and gotten them to where they are today.

Therefore, within Lamdrion and even numerous other town, Vivian’s reputation is quite good.

Gentle, kind, and easy to get along with. She’s also the one who train many newbies, a beautiful girl, and equipped a set of heavy armor and a huge shield for the sake of protecting her comrades. Without any modesty, someone like that could be considered a goddess in the heart of many.

Leili and Vivian were old acquaintances, so Leili trusts Vivian quite a bit. Every single time the adventurer’s guild got a troublesome request, she would recommend Vivian to resolve it. Whenever something happens at the guild, Leili will also often discuss it with Vivian. Plus, if newbies with uncommonly good potential appears, Leili would directly recommend them to join Vivian’s party and have Vivian train them.

Although this strange newcomer couldn’t be said to be the type with unusually good potential, he was worth paying attention to if he really did have some kind of unique or special skill.

This is because, of the two court advisers, one of them has a unique skill that raises the success chance of the [Taming] skill by a great deal. Due to the ability to tame high level demonic beasts like wyverns, they’ve managed to provide a great many wyverns for the knight orders of the Kingdom and produce various wyvern knights. The other has the unique skill to rapidly speed up the growth and maturity of any plant. He created a major surplus for the Kingdom’s food supplies and greatly shortened the growth time for numerous materials of magic potions. This was a great service that made the Mitra Kingdom a major power famed for its abundant food and potions.

With those as examples, the Kingdom will pay a great deal of attention to anyone with a unique skill. The adventurer’s guild would also pay a similar amount of attention to anyone who has or is likely to awaken a unique skill.

If not for that, then there’s no way Shien’s information would have ended up on Leili’s desk.

“Although the chances of this newbie having a unique skill is relatively low, he’s still worth the attention even if he had a special skill. If he was actually a prodigy who for whatever reason wasn’t able to property develop, that’s even better. Anyways, he does bear watching, that’s for sure.”

Leili had that kind of plan.

Of course Vivian doesn’t mind training a newbie either.

This time though, Leili specifically arranged for a male adventurer to join their party, so Vivian was a bit hesitant.

Of course, it’s not like Leili didn’t consider that.

“With Deire around, if this newbie really does go overboard, then let her do as she did with the previous ones. Just go ahead and break his limbs and I’ll cancel his privileges as an adventurer and loss him out of the guild.”

Leili give those directions without hesitation.

“Alright then.”

After considering it a bit, Vivian finally gave a nod.

Thus, Shien’s path forward was decided on.
