Chapter 148: “Why Should I Care?”

Without any notice, Lucy's room once again turned quiet.

Lucy and Vivian had no more to say. They just stared at Shien without giving away what they were thinking.

Shien had a ton of complicated feelings right now.

Although there were still a lot of things he didn't understand, there was one thing that he can be sure of.

And that is, Nien isn't actually the Highest God Omnis.

If he went by Lucy and Vivian's explanations, then as the omnipotent god of the world, Omnis only cared about the Demon King Claudis. Plus, the Highest God Omnis didn't want to see the Demon King Claudis revived either, so she used her own powers to completely erase any possibility for the Demon King's resurrection. It's because of that the demons abandoned resisting and turned instead to the path of coexistence with the other two races. This too is something that pretty much everyone knows."

To this world, the history of a thousand years ago is very important. Even if some details can't be recovered, most of the major events were still well recorded.

Stuff like the Highest God Omnis's aloofness and the matter of the Demon King's death were known widely by all.

How should they deal with it then?

However, Shien wasn't convinced.

"That's you guys. This doesn't have anything to do with someone from another world like me."

That's how it is.

As someone from another world, Shien's creator was unquestionably his own parents. It had nothing at all to do with gods or whatever.
