Chapter 18 - Brothers!

**Instead of No.1/2 etc, they will be referred to as simply 'First', 'Second' and so on.

'First' dragged Hao Xuan out of the hall and towards an area to the side of the camp where there was a bonfire set up.

There were several people sitting in a circle around the bonfire, chatting. The sun had just set and the weather was a little chilly, so it was perhaps the best time for a bonfire party.

As Hao Xuan and First got closer, everyone stopped whatever they were doing and stood up.

"Guys, this is our newest brother. He will be called 'Ninth' from now on. Everyone introduce yourselves," First said and then went to the side, leaving Hao Xuan standing there awkwardly.

"H-hello, my name is Hao Xuan, nice to meet you," he said slightly nervously.

"Hahaha welcome junior brother, come come, have a seat!" said a large figure. He looked like a human but was twice as big and had huge bulging arms.

"My name is Bence, I'll be your third brother," he said as he motioned towards an empty seat.

"This is Dishi, he is your fourth brother," he introduced another figure. Fourth looked extremely young, he had a long coat on with a bandana and a shortsword on his back. He was sitting there with a large piece of meat in his hand, chomping down on it.

"Yo!" he gave a little salute as Hao Xuan looked at him.

"This is our Fifth sister, her name is Ai," he introduced another person. Ai was an attractive lady with long red hair. She wasn't that tall but had a nice figure. As Hao Xuan looked at her she smiled at him.

"Hello Junior brother, it's nice to meet you," she said gently. Her voice didn't match her appearance at all. One would think a girl like that would be very energetic and haughty, but she seemed really gentle and kind.

"This is Jun, he is the youngest of all of us. He is your sixth brother," he said pointing towards a teenager. He had slightly long black hair that were going down to his forehead. He wasn't that tall or muscular but looked like a normal teenager.

With a, what seemed like a chicken leg in his hand, he walked over to Hao Xuan.

"Before I accept you as a brother, you have to answer a question of mine with all honesty," he said with a serious face, looking straight into Hao Xuan's eyes.

"Um, sure, I guess. Ask away," Hao Xuan replied while slowly backing up a step.

He suddenly moved a few steps forward until he was right next to Hao Xuan's ears.

"Breasts, butt, or face, which do you find the most attractive?" he whispered.

Hao Xuan was stunned hearing the question. What the hell was this guy asking him, and in front of everyone else?

"Um, Sixth brother, I don't think it's appropriate for me to answer that," Hao Xuan said quietly.

"No, you have to! Otherwise, I won't accept you as a brother no matter what," he said stubbornly.

*Sigh*

Hao Xuan thought about it and the image of the girls he had seen by the lakeshore came to his mind. His face slightly reddened.

"Well, I guess If I had to, then it would be legs. Or thighs more specifically," Hao Xuan whispered to his ear and moved back a couple more steps.

Sixth made an exaggerated face like he had heard the most shockingly unbelievable thing in the world. Then he suddenly started roaring with laughter.

"Hahaha finally, I've found a confidante! I see you're a man of culture as well Ninth brother! I think we will get along really well," he shouted as he ran up to Hao Xuan and gave him a big hug.

"I finally have someone to talk to," Sixth said as a tear appeared in his eyes.

"Oh what what? What're you guys gossiping about?" Third asked with a grin.

"Nothing, leave us alone. It's got nothing to do with you, third brother!" Fourth replied with a frown.

"Hahaha alright, whatever you say," third laughed, not taking it to heart at all. It seemed like this was a regular occurrence.

"This is brother Qiao, he is our seventh brother," Third pointed towards another person in the back. he was sitting there with a katana on his lap, eyes closed as if in meditation.

"Don't mind him, he is really serious about training and barely takes any time off to have fun," third said when not getting a response from him.

Hao Xuan looked at him and slightly bowed anyway. Seventh had long black hair coming down to his shoulders and had a very handsome but serious face. He looked to be a little bit older than Hao Xuan.

"And finally, this is Tong, our Eighth brother," he introduced the last person there. It was a slightly chubby guy, about the same age as Hao Xuan. He was laying down in front of the bonfire scratching his ass.

"Hey, what's up newbie," he said without getting up.

"Hello," Hao Xuan greeted him the same as others nonetheless.

"Second is on a mission so I'll introduce you guys later," Third said looking around.

"Come, sit down. Let's have some fun!" Sixth said as he dragged Hao Xuan to one of the empty seats.

They drank and ate well into the night. A bit later seventh had joined them too. He greeted Hao Xuan and actually seemed like a very nice person.

Sixth came over to Hao Xuan several times during the party and started talking about thighs. Near the end he whispered "Thick thighs save lives" into Hao Xuan's ears and stumbled off drunkenly, leaving Hao Xuan speechless.

"Ninth Brother, you have to break through to the next realm as quickly as possible. The first thing tomorrow morning go to the hall and read some books on cultivation so you're prepared. Then come meet me or seventh and we will start your training in the sword," First said suddenly turning serious.. Then he bid everyone goodnight and went off into the forest.
