Chapter 61: Clash(1)

“Fang Lin?” Fang Xiushan was shocked upon hearing that name from Tang Ya.

“That means….” At that moment, Fang Xiushan realized everything. The reason why Fatty Lin hates him, why No. 5 seems interested on that fatty and all the other minor stuff. Fang Xiushan then let out a manic laugh as he looked towards Fang Lin.

“Haha! You are that Fang Lin!” Fang Xiushan gleefully said. His greedy eyes turned into slits as he checked out Fang Lin. “I did not expect that after your exile, you will still be alive! Well, that does not matter anymore, for I will now personally end you!”

The audience who all heard this bickering were also shocked by the revelation.

“That Fatty is someone from the Fang Clan?”

“Looks like it, and from what I see, it seems like the Fang Clan does not view Fang Lin in a good light. Just look, when Fang Xiushan heard his name, he was itching to kill him already.”

“You think Fang Lin is related to the Calamity of the Fang Clan?”

“He’s definitely related. Sigh, now that poor fatty will definitely be routed here. His only chance to survive is to get accepted into the Immortal God Sect.”

Fang Lin facepalmed himself with Tang Ya’s blunder. Tang Ya then realized the implications of what she said.

“That’s right, I am Fang Lin!”

Upon seeing Fang Lin’s current face, Fang Xiushan let out a sneer. “You said that you are Fang Lin, yet why are you not showing your real face? Did you become too ugly for us to see it?

“Haha its actually the opposite!”

“Opposite?”

“Do you know that when I showed my real face to Tang Ya, she was immediately awed by my handsome visage!”

Fang Lin looked imperiously towards the surprised Fang XIushan. “If I show my handsome face here, I think there will be pandemonium!”

Xiao Ya smiled upon hearing this. She herself knew the beauty of Fang Lin and Fang Hao.

Fang Xiushan on the other hand, was not impressed. “You still dare to spout lies? Let’s start our fight now so I can show all of them what trash you really are!”

Fang Lin ignored his provocation as he looked towards Shi Poyun. The little boy continued munching on his fruit, clearly not interested in the drama unfolding.

“Shi Poyun,” Fang Lin approached the boy with an amicable smile on his face. “I see that you like eating Bloodheart apples.”

Shi Poyun’s face visibly brightened after he heard Fang Lin mention the Bloodheart apples. He then replied on his shrilly voice, “I love this apples! Too bad I only brought 3 here with me. This is the third one, so I cannot eat more today..” The little boy looked sad as he stared at the ground.

“Do not worry about that little boy!” Fang Lin said as he stared towards Shi Poyun. He reached underneath is robes and pulled out a Bloodheart Apple inside it. He then threw it towards the surprised Shi Poyun. “Here, an apple for you.”

“Really? Thanks!” Shi Poyun let out a carefree smile as he gorged on the apple Fang Lin gave. 30 seconds later, and he already finished the apple. Shi Poyun looked shyly towards Fang Lin as he asked “Umm… do you still have more, Big Brother?”

“Yes I still have more little boy, but I need you to do something before I give more to you.” At this point, Fang Lin had a smile similar to Wang Hao when he was about to do something mischievous. “I just need you to cooperate with me on defeating Fang Xiushan.”

“Wait, just that?”

“Well, after we defeat him, we two will remain. But do not worry. Once only the two us remains, we can fight the way it should be fought. I also swear that I will give you the apples after the battle stage.”

“Deal!” The two shook hands as Fang Xiushan watched from afar.

“Do you think just because you two cooperated that you can win against me? You are both too naïve!”

Chu Yang then appeared, clearly there to start the incoming match

“Well then, the last match for the Top 3 will start now. It’s Fang Lin versus Shi Poyun versus Fang Xiushan!”

Upon hearing the go signal, Shi Poyun and Fang Lin rushed towards Fang Xiushan.

With every step that he takes, Shi Poyun seemed to gain more and more power. A huge hammer then appeared on his hands that he immediately raised high in the air. Upon coming in front of Fang Xiushan, Shi Poyun smashed his hammer towards his head.

“Take this, you baddie!” The hammer then appeared to have air currents flowing on its surface. Fang XIushan’s face changed as he saw the incoming hammer. He knew that this hammer could use the air currents to amplify its striking power!

Fang Xiushan then brandished two swords on each of his hand. On his left was a white sword with unfathomable purity. On his right was a dark sword that seemed to pulse with great malice. He then put the dark sword in front of him horizontally as the white one dangled from his left hand while touching the ground with its tip.

“Dong.”

Once the hammer hit the dark sword, Fang Xiushan twisted his body sidewards to the right as he also leaned backwards. He also included the dark sword on his rotation. Combined with the qi that he supplied to the dark sword, Fang Xiushan was able to successfully redirect Shi Poyun’s hammer strike.

“Bang!”

Shi Poyun’s hammer struck the ground located at Fang Lin’s right side. This successful diversion left Shi Poyun off-balanced. It was then that Fang Xiushan made his attack.

The white sword that was hanging from his left hand suddenly struck out, clearly heading towards Shi Poyun’s exposed right side! Because he was off-balanced, Shi Poyun could only use the wind essence to create a wind armor to alleviate Fang Xiushan’s piercing strike.

But Fang XIushan’s white sword was also brimming with qi that made it disregard the hastily set defense. It easily pierced through like butter, now heading towards Shi Poyun’s ribs. But before it could sink in Shi Poyun’s body, the other participant made his move.

“Boom!”

A large stone struck Fang Xiushan’s sword. Because of the intense power the stone was thrown with, the sword that was about to pierce Shi Poyun clearly changed trajectory. It now shifted to the right, going towards Shi Poyun’s head.

When Shi Poyun saw this, he used all the flexibility he had to move his head out of the swords path.

“Shlink!”

Fang Xiushan’s white sword only managed to cut Shi Poyun’s hair as he successfully dipped his head down. After this miss, Shi Poyun’s hands touched the ground. He then used his left hand to grab his hammer and his right hand to push himself away from Fang Xiushan.

Shi Poyun was able to distance himself away from Fang Xiushan. Upon landing on a spot 5 strides away from Fang Xiushan, Shi Poyun gratefully looked towards Fang Lin.

Fang Lin at this point had some large stones beside him. His whole body seemed to swell as it was all circulating with qi. One look at him and his cultivation level can be determined. He had already stepped in to the Fourth Level of the Qi Condensation Stage!

“Woah Big Brother, you are just at the Fourth Level? You really are strong! Just that throw of yours managed to divert that baddie’s sword!”

Fang Xiushna on the other hand, had a gloomy expression on his face. His left arm still felt numb after feeling the shockwaves of Fang Lin’s strike against his sword.

“I must not let Fang Lin find a way to snipe me! That means I have to finish off Shi Poyun as fast as possible. If not, that Fang Lin could get a lucky hit!”

Fang Lin also wore a serious expression on his face as he looked towards Fang Xiushan.

“This guy is really good! With just his sword skill, he was able to almost defeat Shi Poyun in just one clash! Its lucky that I caught him with a throw. But he will not fall for it next time. I am sure he will focus more on Shi Poyun and he will not allow me to have a clear range!”

Shi Poyun also knew that at this scenario, Fang Xiushan will most likely try to eliminate him.

All three of them tensed themselves, as they observed how each other will attack. Fang Xiushan was the first one to make a strike.

He threw his dark sword toward Fang Lin as Fang Xiushan rushed towards Shi Poyun. His white sword made an arc in the air as he slashed on the slower Shi Poyun. With their difference in speed, Shi Poyun was not able to raise his hammer on time to block Fang Xiushan’s sword strike.

As for Fang Lin, he had to dodge the incoming dark sword that was thrown towards him. Because of this, he was not able to throw a stone to intercept Fang Xiushan’s sword strike.
