Chapter 33: Soul-Ripping Talisman

Xiao Ya was surprised upon seeing what happened to Fang Yu. She looked around her, trying to see if someone sneaked attack them. With her divine sense, she knew nobody could do that in her presence.

“That means the Yang Persona have been damaged. And from what I see, its soul damage!”

The Yin-Yang Beast Bloodline is really heaven-defying. But this bloodline held a fatal weakness. The soul. Even though the person can still split himself into two, these two bodies are still controlled by one soul only. This means that all extreme pleasures or extreme pain that goes deep into the soul can be felt by both bodies.

This has been proved when Fang Lin felt all the pleasures Fang Yu got from Xiao Ya’s massages. So Xiao Ya knew that at this point, Fang Lin has met someone with the capability to damage the soul.

“You must survive! If not, both of your bodies will die!”

Now, let’s turn back time a little and see how Fang Lin ended up in this state.

As the sun rose upon the forest, Fang Lin’s group started to stir awake. Tang Ya and Venomshade started fixing their weapons and equipment looking ready to start the day. Wang Hao just looked at Fang Lin deeply, as if he was reminding him to remember his advice last night. Boner on the other hand, looked a little pale.

“It must have been due to all the stress right now.” Fang Lin muttered to himself. He then approached and Boner and asked “So what are we gonna do now? Keep avoiding the enemies or start attacking them?”

Boner looked at Fang Lin and said “I have talked to Wang Hao about this already. We are going to find a spot here in the safe zone that will be a strategic location for defense and offense. Luckily, we found one.” He pointed on a spot on the map. That part was a raised plateau with only one incline as a way to climb it.

“Once we occupy this spot, the other groups will find it hard to attack us and consequently, it will be easier for us to attack them.”

“Ok then, let’s camp up here. We just need to hurry, for other groups might want this spot too.”

They then departed their site and moved over to the top of that plateau. Upon arriving there, they sighed in relief for they knew they were the first to arrive. They then set up camp, prepared defenses and just waited patiently.

But while Fang Lin was looking at the map, he saw something alarming. 50 groups were now rushing right towards their place!

“Hey everyone! A huge alliance is about to attack us now!” When he saw this huge opposition, Fang Lin thought that there is something strange happening. Why would this alliance suddenly attack them while they just arrived? It was as if they knew they are gonna set-up camp in the plateau.

“Wait, it was as if they knew it? Then there really is a traitor!” Fang Lin was about to warn them about the traitor when he felt a sense of danger behind him. He looked behind and saw Tang Ya collapse to the ground, unable to move. His Master Wang Hao was still there, with nothing happening to him. Venomshade was fine too. Even Fang Lin felt nothing was wrong with him.

Boner on the other hand, was holding a knife against Tang Ya’s throat. “Don’t move, or I will slit her throat!”

Wang Hao sighed, as if his worst fears were confirmed. “So you are really a traitor. Tell me, did Fatty Zhou do something to you that warranted you to betray us?”

“I’m sorry Fatty Wang, it’s not like I still have a choice.” Boner smile sadly, and removed his shirt. What Fang Lin saw was an imprint of a flower on Boner’s chest.

“This is a parasitic plant that sucks away my vitality through my heart. Normally, the vitality it absorbs can be compensated by my normal activities. But if Fatty Zhou wills it, this plant can suck my life away immediately at once.” Boner looked hurt as he looked at them. “You are all my friends, but through a message talisman, Fatty Zhou commanded me to find a way for all of you to be fattened up.”

“Fattened up?”

“That means that Fatty Zhou wants me to increase the quality of your cards as high as possible. And when the time comes,” Boner hung his head down. “offer all of your cards to his son Zhou Rougue.”

‘So its Zhou Rougue’s entourage who’s coming now huh?” Wang Hao cheekily replied. ‘But even if he comes here, the only one you were able to poison was Tang Ya. Venomshade is of course immune. Me and Fang Lin have special bodies. Yao’er is also here. So what can you still do to reduce our numbers?”

“Then I’m going to do this!” Boner drew his knife along the skin of Tang Ya’s throat. Drops of blood began to form on that line. “If any of you try to dodge my attacks, I will kill her!”

“Then do try to attack.” Fang Lin confidently crossed his arms in front of Boner. “Give me your best shot!” Fang Lin was of course confident with his body’s endurance. Boner is only at the third level of Qi Condensation Stage, so what can he do to him? Besides, Fang Lin knew that if he did not follow Boner’s demand, Tang Ya would probably get killed.

“You told me so.” Boner reached inside his shorts and brought out a strange looking talisman. It was shaped like a rock, and it let out an ominous aura.

“Not good Fang Lin, you must not get hit by that!”

“Huh?”

But it was already too late. Boner expertly threw the talisman straight into Fang Lin’s chest. Once it hit him, the talisman let out an ethereal blade that slashed through him. What it damaged was not his body, but his soul. This is the Soul-Ripping Talisman. Upon receiving this attack, Fang Lin and Fang Yu both went unconscious. Yao’er, whose soul was connected to Fang Lin’s also got affected by this.

Of course, this talisman did not rip Fang Lin’s soul apart. This talisman only brought the pain of being ripped apart on his soul. His soul, who had not felt something like this before, immediately folded.

“I knew that Fang Lin has a powerful body, so I decided to use this Soul-Ripping Talisman to be sure to defeat him. Do not worry, he will also regain consciousness later. But before that happens, he will be already disqualified.” Boner looked around him. “I have already eliminated three fighters. What only remains are you two, Venomshade and Wang Hao. Minutes later, sounds of footsteps approached the plateau. The new arrival was composed of 150 people. Leading them in front was a young man around the age of 20. He had short hair and he held a huge axe on his shoulder. He emanated an immense killing intent that even overshadowed Fang Lin’s. He went up the plateau and he saw the situation in it.

“Hahahaha good job Boner!” This man, who was Zhou Rougue continued in his booming voice. “These three you caught have such good cards that I think I could ask father to reduce your vitality being absorbed by the parasite!”

“Ah actually, Brother Rougue, can I ask for a different request?” Boner then told about what he wanted to do with Wang Hao. Zhou Rougue then looked at Wang Hao and said “Hey you damned fatty, if you want to live, give me a good poetry portraying my greatness! If you do that and also ask to join me then I will spare you and your friends! Of course their cards are going to stay with me.” He continued cackling as he looked at Wang Hao expectantly.

Wang Hao then took a deep breath and said

“Roses are red, Violets are blue.”

“When I flush the toilet I see you.”

The surroundings then started crackling with electricity.

“Roses are red, Violets are blue.”

“How’s your d**k? Did someone suck it for you?”

“What?” Zhou Rougue was surprised and pissed at Wang Hao said.

“Roses are red, Violets are blue.”

“Who told your mom to give birth to a scum like you?”

“Ahh!!!!!! I’ll kill you!” Zhou Rougue then rushed towards Wang Hao, intending to kill him.

“No… Fatty Wang!”

But Wang Hao did not seem to be perturbed by Zhou Rougue. He looked towards Zhou Rougue and uttered

“Roses are red, Violets are blue.”

“Omae wa mo shindeiru!” [1]
