Chapter 325: For the Horde

“Move out!” The hooked-nosed man said as he and his subordinates pushed the paralyzed Illusion Fang Lin and Bruno along with the other Divine Beasts inside the Palace.

“Why did you do that? You know too well that we could not run away now. Could it be that you have something planned?” Chi Xing asked through a divine sense message.

“Planned? You can say that its like that.” Illusion Fang Lin replied back saying nothing else more. He seemed to be not interested on saying what he was thinking about.

“Tsk…..” Chi Xing muttered as hopelessness filled her eyes. On her opinion, whatever Illusion Fang Lin was planning was bound to fail.

“I don’t need to rely on something like him…. It seems like I have to use this now.” Chi Xing closed her eyes as he established a connection with a jade slip inside her storage.

Because of the sheer power of the people inside the Palace, most of the items inside Chi Xing’s storage is not worth a fart in front of them.

But Chi Xing was confident that the jade slip she was about to use now will be something different.

“Stop that!” The hooked-nosed man’s face changed as he looked at Chi Xing.

From the looks of it, people like the hooked-nosed man can somewhat instinctively detect danger just before they could happen.

Even the other Law Domain Practitioners in the entourage looked suddenly worried at Chi Xing as they all swooped in to restrain.

“Too late!” The jade slip appeared on Chi Xing’s hand as she started to immediately crush it.

Silence reigned for a few seconds, which made the hooked-nosed man think that maybe it was just a false alarm.

But that comfort of his suddenly disappeared when he felt a horrifying aura suddenly appearing in the God Continent.

“Not good!” The hooked-nosed man’s face began to pale a little as he looked towards a certain direction.

That direction was at the northwest section of the God Continent, where the Undead Forest was situated.

One can say that this forest was similar to the Forest of Death in the Tian Ji Empire. After all, the Undead Forest was also created from an object that fell on that spot which happened the same time that the Forest of Death was created.

The only difference was the fact that it was discovered that any Immortals or Gods who ventures inside the Undead Forest mysteriously dies, and becomes an Undead with a battle prowess of a God or an Immortal!

Of course at that point the Undead God/Immortal would have lost their memories already and they will just act on pure instinct.

But each one of these powerful Undead was something that the Palace of the Gods does not dare to provoke!

Because of this, no God or Immortal dared to venture the Undead Forest. The fact that someone like them will die if they go there and that many Undead Immortal/God exists there were enough deterrents for them!

It was lucky for the God Continent that just like the Forest of Death, the inhabitants of the Undead Forest cannot leave the Undead Forest. This made the people safe as long as they did not enter the forest.

As such, the Undead Forest was branded by the Palace of the Gods as a forbidden zone, not allowing anyone to go near that place

But Chi Xing’s actions seemed to have changed that game entirely.

“What have you done???” The hooked-nosed man said as he grabbed Chi Xing’s shoulders.

Chi Xing hissed in pain, but that did not hide the mocking grin on her face.

“Do you know why those Undead could not leave the Undead Forest? It’s because of the object that was in the middle of the forest! It does not allow them to leave by tying their lifeforces in the Undead Forest. With that tying them down, it will be impossible for them to leave.”

Chis Xing then showed the jade slip that she crushed in front of everyone.

“See this jade slip? I just picked it up in one of my adventures. I do not know where it came from or how it appeared in front of me. I just picked it up and took it home with me.”

Chi Xing then smiled as if she could remember something good.

“When I probed it with my divine sense, I found out that this was a ‘key’ for that object in the Undead Forest!”

The pieces of the crushed jade slip fell to the ground as Chi Xing coldly laughed.

“As long as I crush this jade slip, the restriction that the object holds in the Undead Forest will disappear! That means all those Undead can freely roam the God Continent now!”

“You!!!!” The hooked-nosed man wanted to say more, but he stopped as he and the other powerful practitioners felt it.

That horrifying aura was the combination of all the killing intent that the Undead in the Undead Forest had piled up!

Because they were unable to leave the Undead Forest, they were extremely bored, with nothing to vent their killing desires on.

But with Chi Xing crushing that jade slip, the restriction of the Undead Forest on the Undead were all gone!

“Roar!!!!!”

Bloodthirsty roars could be heard at the whole God Continent as countless Undead rushed out of the Undead Forest.

They all had powerful practitioner levels, ranging from the First Stage until the Sixth Stage! All of these Undead left the Undead Forest quickly as they started stomping everything on their path.

“How did she get such thing?” That was what Illusion Fang Lin thought to himself as he realized that Chi Xing might be more unfathomable than he imagined.

“You can say that it was just her luck that she found that jade slip.” Old Man replied to Illusion Fang Lin as he let out a yawn.

“Yeah, yeah, she’s so lucky that she found a key that could bring widespread damage to the God Continent. How lucky was that?” Illusion Fang Lin sarcastically replied. The Old Man sighed after hearing this, as he decided to not say anything.

“What are you going to do now?” Chi Xing taunted as she saw everyone’s pale expression.

“Of course you will stay here, and the Palace of the Gods will deal with them.” That was the hooked-nosed man’s confident reply.

“Are you sure you want me to stay here?” Chi Xing giggled as she pointed her hands in the northwest direction.

“The person who crushes the jade slip ‘key’ will be considered as a friend of the Undead. They will feel a close bond with that person, and will save them from any danger.”

Chi Xing’s eyes narrowed as she gleefully said,

“Now that I was about to be sacrificed, what do you think will those Undead do? Of course they will come in and save me!”

“!!!!!!” The entourage who fetched them looked at the northwest direction and sure enough, they saw most of the Undead rushing towards the direction of the Palace of the Gods.

This ‘Undead Horde’ ignored the kingdoms that they passed through as they began to gain speed.

It was as if they were only focused on arriving at the headquarters of the Palace of the Gods, and nothing, not even the sects that they passed through diverted their attention!

“Argh!” The hooked-nosed man cursed as he realized that Chi Xing managed to complicate the situation beyond repair.

Warning sounds alarmed throughout the whole Palace of the Gods, signifying the arrival of a threat. This time, the threat was the incoming Undead Horde.

The last time the Palace of the Gods had to deal with a threat like this 100 years ago!

Chi Xing cupped her chin as she gave a taunting smile to the hooked-nosed man.

“If you leave me here, then this place will be a warzone. You would not want that right?”
