Was someone bullying her in the crew? Or did the producer wants to do something to her?

Ye Peicheng thought of this and felt uncomfortable. He had been in the circle for many years so he naturally knew how dark the entertainment circle could be.

So he worked hard and hoped that he could support her one day. At least, he wanted to promise her that the people who were jealous and wanted to do something to her would be scared due to Ye Group’s power!

Ye Peicheng gave his assistant a call. Half an hour later, he got an answer. The crew suddenly changed the script and deleted Qiao Moyu’s lines, adding more to the second female lead’s lines.

The moment he got the news, he couldn’t describe the feeling in his heart. But he felt his heart swelling up for some unknown reasons. He felt his heart aching but at the same time, very warm.

He knew why Qiao Moyu didn’t tell him this. Not because she didn’t trust him but because she understood his difficulty.

His Moyu seemed to be carefree and casual. She didn’t think much about it but times like this, she would make him feel moved. She caught his heart completely!

The next morning, Qiao Moyu arrived at the cast and crew as usual. She held the script that was revised.

She sat on her seat and looked at it. She felt that it was strange how the Director wasn’t there yet. An hour later, he finally arrived.

He held the original script in his hand and said to all the actors, “Sorry for being late, everyone. It’s because I had a video conference with the producers and everyone thought the original script would be more valuable. So, we need to shoot parts of the scenes from yesterday again. This is our responsibility. In order to compensate everyone, we’ll invite you guys to Ocean City to eat!”

Everyone was very shocked. Many looked at Qiao Moya.

After all, everyone knew that the person most affected by this revision of script would be Qiao Moyu.

But the script was modified again. That meant someone was helping Qiao Moyu behind the scene?

But yesterday, they had been filming according to the new script. Who was by Qiao Moyu’s side that had the ability to reverse the situation?

The filming was successful. It was the female lead’s scenes today. Although the second female lead was in it, she didn’t have many lines. According to the original script, she had even less.

When they gathered together for dinner, Qiao Moyu went to the bathroom to call Ye Peicheng. “Brother Ye, was it you?”

Ye Peicheng was working overtime. He walked over to the French window and stared at the light outside. There was a smile on his face. “It wasn’t me.”

Qiao Moyu didn’t believe him. “I didn’t even give you context when I asked you this question. If you really didn’t do this, you would ask me what I was talking about.”

Ye Peicheng’s smile deepened. “My Moyu finally knows how to get words out of my mouth.”

As he said this, he explained. “It really wasn’t me. It’s my father.”

Qiao Moyu was stunned. “What?!”

Ye Peicheng said, “Just like what you’re concerned about, if I help you, the shareholders won’t let me go. My Elder Brother will make a big deal out of this too and drive me out of the Ye Group. Even if my father wanted to save me, by then, I would lose everyone’s support. But if my father helps you, it will be completely different. He doesn’t need to care about anyone. He can directly suppress the sponsor behind second female lead and make them remove their funds. That way, Ye Group can inject their funds.”

“What?” Qiao Moyu said worriedly, “What if you can’t get the money back?”

“Will my koi not help me get the money back?” Ye Peicheng laughed deeply and his laugh was pleasant. “My father likes you as his daughter-in-law anyway. By then, he will probably be even happier that you helped him earn money!”
