“Alright.” Ye Peicheng’s Adam’s apple bobbed. Just as he thought that his heart could see the light, Luo Luo, sitting opposite of him, piped up.

The little guy remembered what Qiao Moyu had once said on TV before. He had always kept it in mind and hadn’t asked about it, so he stretched out his chubby arms, his eyes shining: “Master, how do you see Disciple then?”

The baby in front of her had short and chubby arms that looked like lotus roots. It was so cute that it tempted people to go over and take a bite. Due to the presence of outsiders, Qiao Moyu restrained her thoughts. She faced Luo Luo and held back her drool: “I like my family’s 32nd generation person the most!”

The little guy heard her words and happily smiled.

After smiling, he didn’t forget to turn toward Ye Peicheng on the opposite side: “Sect Uncle, Master said that she like Disciple the most!”

Ye Peicheng: “…”

At this time, the boss’s wife finished making porridge and pastries, and started to serve the dishes.

Just as Qiao Moyu was thinking how did the lady boss make an even tastier meal than last time, her phone on the table rang.

Ye Peicheng saw the caller ID displayed on the phone. There were four words on the screen– Brother Yichen.

A storm rampaged within his eyes, though his facial expression stayed constant. He stared fiercely at the phone as Qiao Moyu picked it up.

Only after she picked up the phone did she realize that she hadn’t yet changed Xing Yichen’s name in her phone’s contacts.

However, the Taoist school gained a new member today, and she was eating good food, so her mood was very good. Her tone wasn’t very harsh when picking up the call: “CEO Xing, did the sun rise from the west today?”

She didn’t know why, every time she encountered Xing Yichen, she seemed to have turned into a different person, someone very unlike herself. After a few meetings Qiao Moyu concluded that it might be because the original owner’s obsession Xing Yichen was too strong, so as long as there was still a trace of her memories in the body, once they encounter one another, she would be automatically be affected.

On the other side, Xing Yichen’s tone was level, a tone that Qiao Moyu had never sensed from him before when talking to her. “Moyu, do you have time to meet up?”

Qiao Moyu turned vigilant: “Who are you?” Last time they used someone’s back to try and trick me. This time, it’s over the phone?

“Moyu, it’s me.” Xing Yichen replied: “There are some things that I want to talk about with you in person.”

Qiao Moyu glanced at Ye Peicheng across from her. There seemed to be something off about his current state.

She wanted to swear at Xing Yichen for a few sentences, but seeing as how Ye Peicheng was present, it was a bit difficult to voice it out. Also, her son was right next to her, and she didn’t want to teach bad things to her child, so she stood up and walked outside to continue listening.

There were no people here, so she had much more freedom. She blurted out in a not-so-polite tone: “Xing Yichen, are you sick? Just because you said to have a chat, I will go? In the beginning, just who was it that choked me and said that I was like a sow, and that if they took an extra look they’ll feel disgusted? What, did you drink too much and can’t vomit, so you found me to help you?!”

“Moyu.” Unexpectedly, Xing Yichen did not get angry. He paused for two seconds, then said: “Regarding the matters from before, I might’ve had some misunderstandings. So, I want to talk with you face to face. How about… I will go to your residence tonight.”

“En, you say find me and then you come? Did I agree?” Qiao Moyu didn’t finish speaking before Xing Yichen cut in: “Moyu, see you later.”

After he finished speaking, he directly hung up the phone.

Hearing the sound of the receiver click, Qiao Moyu knit her eyebrows and removed the phone from her ear. She muttered to herself: “Weird!”

Just as she turned around to return to the store, she saw a shadow fall in front of her.

She was shocked for a moment: “Senior brother, how come you came out?”

Ye Peicheng suddenly stepped forward. His eyes seemed like a dark night that hid stars, and his lips were drawn into a line. His jaw was clenched and his entire body gave off a low pressure.

Qiao Moyu was shaken by his force, and couldn’t help but shrink her neck: “What happened?”

His gaze was gloomy and dark, yet his voice was deepened with affection: “Qiao Moyu, I like you, so I mind if you walk too close to other men!”
