Lin Xin silently consoled herself, and a slow smile made it to her lips. Yes, it was fine. Besides, she had gotten to hang out with her friends. That was the best thing she could ever ask for.

Cheng Yan stayed seated, glancing over at Yao Tang from time to time. Lin Xin had also gone back to her own seat.

“So—”

However, just as he was about to speak, Yao Tang slammed her foot on the accelerator. The car sped down the highway, and everyone was thrown to the back of their seats.

Their eyes widened as the others scrambled over to grab the door handle, struggling to steady themselves.

“Sister Tang,” Meng Yang called out. “What are you doing?”

His eyes widened.

If it hadn’t been for Qin Hao, his head would’ve already slammed against the door beside him. His heart almost jumped right out of his chest as he tightened his grip on the handle.

Everyone also had the same expression.

“I’m trying to make it to dinner in time.”

Yao Tang didn’t even bother to slow down, and the car continuously sped down the highway. She didn’t appear too bothered by the speed.

Thinking of what had happened, Lin Xin grinned excitedly.

“We’re going, Sister Tang? That means we’re going, right?” she asked, clapping her hands together. “Thank you so much! Oh, gosh, guys just you wait! The forest is beautiful!”

Thinking of the spot she had seen on her phone, her smile continued to widen. It was obvious that she was happy with the outcome.

Cheng Yan took one look at Lin Xin’s bright face, and he shook his head.

He needed to find any excuse to get into the car, but this girl could go wherever she wanted as soon as she pouted. She obviously was treated differently than him.

Dissatisfaction flashed in his eyes, but Yao Tang didn’t seem to notice.

Lin Xin, who was sitting right behind Cheng Yan, tightened her coat. While the weather was good, she couldn’t help but feel a cool gaze boring right at her. She tried to look around but found no one.

Without another word, she simply shrugged, not taking it to heart.

She was far more excited to see the wondrous sight.

To everyone’s surprise, the journey, which was estimated to take around two hours, was completed in half an hour with Yao Tang’s godly speed.

Finally, tall trees surrounded the car, and the crowd excitedly stuck their head out. They gaped at their surroundings, feeling their breath catch up in their throats. It was truly a beautiful sight.

However, they didn’t find the wonder that Lin Xin had been talking about. While the forest was beautiful, it was quite ordinary. There also wasn’t any animal in sight.

There was nothing to see.

Qin Jing slowly shook her head. “I told you. We’ve lived in Beijing for such a long time, and we’ve never heard or seen about this. The photo you’ve shown must be edited.”

It was obvious that the photo was fake.

There was no such thing!

How could a sun and moon appear at the same time? If there really was a place, so many astronomers would’ve traded their kidneys just to see that place.

“But he had taken all these pictures! Wait!”

Lin Xin still believed in her friend.

She quickly turned on her phone and searched for the forum where she had first seen it. Seeing that there were different pictures on it, she quickly showed them to Qin Jing.

“See? There were even comments about it. Everyone was talking about it in the forum.”

She waved her phone.

Qin Jing glanced at the pictures, before shaking her head. “That isn’t an official forum. It’s very likely that the person was trying to get some attention. They’re photoshopped.”

Lin Xin had always been innocent and naive, so she believed that her friend had been deceived.

In this world, anyone would lie just to get the slightest bit of attention. There were so many examples of these. It’s why one should trust anyone too much.

“No, my friend saw it with his own eyes! He even sent me a video.”

Lin Xin shook her head, still insisting that it was true.

She believed she could tell what was true and what was fake.

However, the other passengers simply shook their heads in disappointment.

“I really think it’s fake too,” Meng Yang softly interjected. “Your friend must’ve felt embarrassed, having come all this way here, so he lied. I can understand that.”

After all, he was only trying to hide his embarrassment.
