Chapter 152: The Hard Exams

Meng Yang came around the corner when he saw the two teens conversing with one another. “So you’re here,” he exclaimed. “I looked around the hallway and didn’t find you there, so I thought you’d already gone to the cafeteria.”

Seeing the infamous school bully staring up at Yao Tang like he was some type of puppy, Qin Jingburst into laughter. “What kind of face is that?” she guffawed. “Are you waiting for a treat or something? Hold on, I think I have some kibbles in my bag –”

Meng Yang shot Qin Jing a glare, but he didn’t say another word. After all, he was still too busy waiting for the answers.

As soon as Yao Tang finally replied to all her unread messages, she shoved her phone back into her pocket and nodded at Meng Yang. The corners of her lips twitched into a smile.

With these two buffoons by her side, her mood couldn’t get any better.

“Hey, I got the first five questions right! I’m so smart!” Meng Yang waved his arms up in the air, jumping up and down as he did so.

He had never felt so satisfied and proud in his life.

“Are you serious?” Qin Jing poured cold water on his excitement. “If Sister Tanghadn’t tutored us on similar questions, do you think you could’ve done something like that?”

At this moment, Yao Ran, who had happened to pass by, overheard the entire conversation. She quietly sat down on the bench by the roadside, with a tree covering her entire figure.
