Chapter 319: Take You Back

Inside the broadcasting room, Qiao Qing watched the girl through the surveillance camera. She couldn’t help but be surprised.

Luo Chen hopped down from the window, “Today sure was satisfying! But Qingqing, are you a hacker? How did you get the school’s surveillance videos using your laptop? You also took control of the school’s giant screen.”

Qiao Qing stood up, “Everyone who has a little knowledge of computers can do it.”

Luo Chen simply nodded, “Are we going back?”

Qiao Qing, “Come with me to see someone.”

Luo Chen took over the laptop bag from her, “Who?”

Qiao Qing, “A friend.”

The crowd at the east gate still hadn’t dispersed by the time Qiao Qing arrived.

All the students stopped their movements when they saw her. Their gazes no longer carried this morning’s disdain. Instead, they were full of respect and admiration.

Chen Nanfeng’s eyes brightened when she saw Qiao Qing. She waved around her bitten arm, “Qingqing!”

Qiao Qing smiled and went to her side.

Her classmates wanted to say something to her but were too ashamed.

Qiao Qing ignored everyone else and simply walked towards Chen Nanfeng with her hands in her pockets. She grabbed Chen Nanfeng by the hand and left. Luo Chen and Lin Xiyan followed her.

Chen Nanfeng’s heart thumped up and down, “Qingqing, where are you taking me?”

Qiao Qing, “The school nurse.”

Inside the Jun Corporation, CEO’s office.

Mu Jinghang, who was looking at his laptop beside Jun Yexuan, slammed the table, “Beautiful! Little Qingqing may be lowkey and uncompetitive, but when she counter strikes, she hits right where it hurts!”

Jun Yexuan narrowed his eyes, “She’s picking up girls again!”

Mu Jinghang, “...”

Third bro, why’s your focal point always so different from everyone else’s?

But based on the shy way Chen Nanfeng looked through the screen, it really did seem like Qiao Qing was picking her up.

Jun Yexuan turned off his laptop and picked up his suit jacket.

Mu Jinghang, “Are we going home?”

Jun Yexuan, “I’m taking my girlfriend home.”

Mu Jinghang, “...”

“Must you remind me at every single given opportunity that you got a title?”

“My ears are growing calluses!”

When Qiao Qing saw Jun Yexuan’s car parked right outside of the school campus, she was not at all surprised.

Just as she was about to go, a hummer suddenly stopped right beside her. The car door opened and a hand stuck out and grabbed onto her wrist.

Instinctively, Qiao Qing pulled away. But when she saw who it was, she froze.

During that second, she was dragged into the car.

Jun Yexuan hopped off his car and dashed over. But the car’s door had slammed shut and it had driven away.

“Sh!t!” Jun Yexuan turned back, pulled his driver out of the car, and sat in the driver’s seat himself. He turned on the car.

Mu Jinghang stared at Jun Yexuan in a daze, “Brother, was that Feng Heng?”

Jun Yexuan ignored him, but his face was scary dark.

Mu Jinghang, “Brother, red light!”

“Shut up!” Jun Yexuan scolded and Mu Jinghang zipped his lips.

Inside the hummer, Qiao Qing glared at Feng Heng, “What do you think you’re doing?!”

“I don’t know either.” Feng Heng’s gaze was glued onto her face, “These days, there’s been a voice inside my head, telling me to take you back. So I did what I was told.”

“You’re crazy!” Qiao Qing went to open the car door.

Her wrist felt a tight squeeze as Feng Heng pulled her into an embrace.

“Let me go!”

“Isn’t this what you like?” Feng Heng held onto her tightly and refused to let go no matter how much she struggled.

“Shameless and overbearing – aren’t those the methods he used to steal your heart? How come he gets to do it, but I don’t?”
