Chapter 244: Don’t You Recognize Me?

Luo Chen and Qingqing were startled by this, “Who are you calling?”

Fu Xiuyu looked over and saw a girl staring at him in shock. He couldn’t help but feel confused.

Fu Siying followed his gaze. When she saw Qiao Qing and her friends, her face turned dark and she pulled Fu Xiuyu over.

Staring at Qiao Qing with her eyes wide, she said, “You’re a first-year at UCC?!”

Qiao Qing ignored her and instead, looked over to Lin Xiyan curiously.

Luo Chen on the other hand, spat back, “That’s none of your business!”

Fu Siying then followed Qiao Qing’s gaze. When she saw Lin Xiyan stare at Fu Xiuyu without blinking, her face darkened yet again.

“What are you looking at?! You think you can lust after my brother?! Take a piss and look at how ugly your own reflection is!”

“You think just because you have an okay face and are now in university, you can hog onto a rich man? My brother has a girlfriend! You are worth less than a finger of hers!”

Luo Chen cursed at her, “Can’t you clean out your mouth?! What did she even say to you for you to act out such a scene?!”

Fu Siying, “You..”

“Siying!” Fu Xiuyu frowned and scolded. Then, he walked over to Lin Xiyan, “Miss, why are you looking at me? Do we know each other?”

Lin Xiyan’s pupils constricted and all the colors on her face drained. The rims of her eyes however, reddened immediately.

The word “brother” rushed to the tip of her tongue but she swallowed it back, “Do.. do you not recognize me?”

Qi Rui watched Lin Xiyan act this way and the hand that was holding onto her luggage tightened its grip.

Fu Siying thought of something. The color on her face changed and she hurriedly grabbed onto Fu Xiuyu’s arm.

“Brother, why are you acknowledging her?! There are thousands of girls who have tried that line on you. If you ask all of them about why they’re staring, wouldn’t you be so annoyed? I thought you were taking me away for fun? Let’s go.”

If this was like any other time, Fu Xiuyu would’ve walked away.

But staring at that unfamiliar face, for some reason, he couldn’t let himself walk away. A spot on his heart felt a pinch.

He was certain that he didn’t know the girl. But seeing her sad made it difficult for him to breathe.

“What’s your name?” Fu Xiuyu asked again.

“Brother!” Fu Siying stomped her foot, “That girl was in the production team for a movie I was in. She’s great at acting! You can’t give her attention just because she’s good at acting like she cares! If Shi Qiong finds out, she will be mad at you!”

Qiao Qing glared at her, “Shut up!”

“What did you say? Who do you think you are!” Fu Siying raised her hand to slap Qiao Qing.

Qiao Qing extended a hand and squeezed Fu Siying’s wrist, then twisted it.

“AH!” Fu Siying screamed in pain, “Brother! This b!tch is hitting me! It hurtssss!”

Fu Xiuyu turned to look at Qiao Qing, “Miss, Siying has been too spoiled by us. Her words may have offended your friend. Please apologize to her on my behalf and please forgive us.”

Qiao Qing violently flung Fu Siying’s arm away and stuffed her hands back into her pocket.

“Brother, why are you helping an outsider?!” Fu Siying didn’t give up and continued to cause a scene, “Who’s your sister here?!”

“Siying, stop talking.” Fu Xiuyu pinched his temples and then looked over to Lin Xiyan, “Can you please tell me your name?”

Lin Xiyan made a fist with her hand then relaxed it. She did all she could to make sure her voice and tone were calm, “I’m Lin Xiyan.”

She didn’t say the last part out loud. However, her eyes shot right through him.

“Lin Xiyan.” Fu Xiuyu mumbled that name under his breath...
