Chapter 233: Jealous of the Brother-in-Law

Qi Yusen’s face turned ugly upon hearing this but there was nothing he could do.

When it came to Qingqing’s health, there was no way he could just sit there and do nothing.

After he gritted his teeth at Jun Yexuan for a while, he looked over to Ning Ye, “Go clear out the guest room. Make sure it’s far away from Qingqing’s.”

Jun Yexuan chuckled shamelessly, “Make sure it’s close by hers or it’ll be such a hassle. I will be moving close to hers anyway when I found out where her room is. ”

Qi Yusen’s eye squinted coldly, “... don’t take it too far.”

Jun Yexuan thought about it and decided that it wouldn’t be good to press the brother-in-law too far. He decided to take a step back, “That’s okay. As long as I live under the same roof as Qingqing, I can get her one day.”

Qi Yusen hissed and headed to the library.

When he pushed open the door, he saw a girl in a ponytail sitting at the table by the window. She was reading a medical book, completely focused.

He couldn’t help but lighten his footsteps, but his heart was feeling gloomy.

She kept on reading medical books related to the nervous system. Could that be what her health issues were?

He walked to Qiao Qing and patted her head. Then, he sat across from her.

He paused for a long time before asking, “Should I take you and do a comprehensive physical examination?”

Qiao Qing found that weird, “I’m not ill.”

Qi Yusen pursed his lips, “Why do you treat your brother as an outsider? No matter what the issue is with your health, I would never give you up.”

“I can hire the best doctors in the world to treat you. Don’t think talking about health is taboo. You are reading medical books because you are looking for a way to treat yourself?”

Qiao Qing was dumbfounded, “I’m reading these books, not for myself. Wait... what... why are you so certain I am sick?”

Qi Yusen’s lips trembled, “Jun Yexuan told me. He said you have health issues and he’s been working hard to help you get through them. Isn’t that right?”

Qiao Qing froze. Then she thought of something and was furious.

Qi Yusen saw the way she reacted and his brows jolted up, “What’s wrong?”

Qiao Qing clenched her teeth and said, “I have menstrual cramps!”

Qi Yusen, “...”

After Qiao Qing’s comment, Qi Yusen’s face turned into a palette – all sorts of colors showed up.

Deep inside, he cursed Jun Yexuan multiple times, and then his lips gently coughed.

“Alright, I get it. But you can’t just dismiss that as nothing. I will help you from now on.”

Qiao Qing felt even more awkward.

Qi Yusen couldn’t help but chuckle at her reaction. He patted her head and stood up, “You can keep reading.”

Qiao Qing nodded and continued.

Qi Yusen didn’t walk away. Instead, he set up a canvas on the side.

After Jun Yexuan settled down, he came out to find those two.

The moment he stepped into the library, he froze.

He saw Qiao Qing reading quietly by the table, and Qi Yusen painting a portrait of her from nearby.

At once, a strange feeling arose from within him.

Jun Yexuan was taken aback by this. How could anyone like their sister that much?

Though he knew those two were related, he couldn’t help but feel sour inside.

Despite his unwillingness, the tranquility of the image of them gave off the aura of peace and serenity.

Since he didn’t like it, he will destroy it.

Jun Yexuan pulled over a barstool and sat right across from Qiao Qing; it blocked Qi Yusen’s view of Qiao Qing.

Qi Yusen frowned, “Go away.”

Jun Yexuan asked curiously, “How come? Am I blocking your view?”

Qi Yusen’s eyes narrowed and coldness refracted out of his eyes.
