Chapter 220: Banquet Organized with Malicious Intentions

“Sister, I wonder what you think of what I said?”

Mo Yan had been in a daze and was a little muddleheaded when she was suddenly called out. She reacted slightly and said, “The concept is very good. I think the project can proceed smoothly.”

Mo Lian had originally thought that she would be able to make a fool out of Mo Yan, who had been in a daze. In the end, however, she was disappointed. She had no choice but to let her assistant continue.

After the project meeting, Xu Tian and Mo Yan walked side by side to the office.

“It looks like tonight’s gathering is a banquet organized with malicious intentions, aimed at you,” Xu Tian said plainly.

Before they dispersed, Mo Lian had specifically mentioned that there would be a gathering that night. She hoped that everyone would be able to attend.

“Ever since I decided to sever ties with the Mo family, Mo Lian has had no way of threatening me. All she can do is say something unprofessional to humiliate me. I didn’t suffer any losses, so why bother with her?”

Xu Tian looked at Mo Yan with a gratified expression in her eyes.

Mo Yan was not the only one who had figured out Mo Lian’s tricks after a few exchanges. Mo Lian also understood Mo Yan.

A moment later, an icy male voice came from the other end of the phone, “Hello.”

“Hello! Luo Tao? This is Mo Lian.”

“I’m not going.”

“7 p.m., Singh Hotel.”

After obtaining the address, Luo Tao quickly hung up on Mo Lian and called Mo Yan.

“Tentatively 7 p.m.; as for the address, it’s at Singh Hotel.”
