Chapter 128: His Heart

Chen Ya wanted to get Mo Yan into Lin Group’s young master’s bed so bad that she even contacted a woman named Mo Lian.

Both of their surnames were Mo, and she remembered hearing this woman talking bad about Mo Yan with her family.

After contacting Mo Lian, the two of them hit it off. After all, they both had a grudge against Mo Yan.

Holding Luo Tao’s hand, Mo Yan asked, “When did you arrive? Have you been waiting for a long time?”

Luo Tao held Mo Yan’s hand with one hand and handed her a bottle of honey lemon water with the other.

Luo Tao smiled and patted her head without answering. He recalled when Qin Yuan asked if he wanted to buy a drink for Mo Yan.

Mo Yan used a straw to drink the beverage and took a deep breath.

As expected of a well-known beverage shop. The taste of lemon and honey combined perfectly. It was sweet and sour, refreshing and soothing for the throatt.

Mo Yan secretly glanced at Luo Tao from the corner of her eyes. How did he know that her throat was sore?

Luo Tao chuckled. “I remember the beverage shop that you talked to me about. After being in a meeting for so many hours, drinking honey lemon water is good for you.”

Mo Yan stuck out her little white teeth and gave Luo Tao a big smile. “You’re too thoughtful! Then I’ll reward you with a mouthful.”

After saying that, Mo Yan brought the cup to Luo Tao’s lips and glanced at the straw that she had already bitten. Luo Tao looked back at Mo Yan with a deeper gaze…
