Chapter 74 The Phoenix Eye Fist

“What’s happening? Who's causing trouble here?!” arrogantly exclaimed the security leader, as the security team came and pushed the crowd aside . The sight of Chen Jianbo stunned the leader, and he instantly smiled . This was not the first time that Chen Jianbo had bullied people on the campus . He knew Chen Jianbo’s background . If he offended this person, he might lose his job .

“None of your business . Get out of my way!” said Chen Jianbo as he honked twice .

The security leader scratched his head . The students would definitely laugh at him if he left now . But he found an excuse in the blink of an eye and said to the other security members, “We can't handle so many of them at once . We'd better call for back up . Let's go!”

He gave Ye Shaoyang a look of pity before he left . He let out a sigh, as he thought that Chen Jianbo’s men would beat up Ye Shaoyang later . He just hoped for the best . Hopefully, they would not injure Ye Shaoyang too seriously . If not, he, as the security leader, would have a tough time cleaning up the mess .

“Little Ye, what do we do? Are we going to fight it out with them?” Xiao Ma gritted his teeth and asked .

“I'm not good at fighting, but we can try,” Ye Shaoyang replied .

“What do you mean that you are not good at fighting?” anxiously asked Xiao Ma, “Damn you! Don't tell me that you were just pretending all the while . If you are beaten up later, you will disgrace yourself even more . ”

Ye Shaoyang shook his head, “That's not what I meant . I’m afraid that I'm not that skillful and may injure them badly . It will be very troublesome if I can't compensate for their medical fees . ”

Ye Shaoyang felt touched . This fatty Xiao Ma remained faithful to a friend at the eleventh hour, even though this fellow had a greedy nature and was normally fond of women . Ye Shaoyang laughed . He clenched his fists and left his middle fingers slightly protruding out . Then, he sprung toward them and struck the back of the heads of two men .

Ye Shaoyang only wanted to toy with them a bit and maybe publicly humiliate them . As such, he intentionally reduced the power of his strikes . But to the crowds’ surprise, the two men fell over and rolled around on the ground in the next moment . They grasped their heads and screamed in pain .

Ye Shaoyang rushed to Xiao Ma’s side and threw a hooked fist at the other two men who planned to attack his friend . The two men fell to the ground one after another and shrieked in pain . Ye Shaoyang’s attacks stupefied Chen Jianbo and the others . He remained stunned for awhile . Then, he roared at his men, “We will overpower them . What are you afraid of?! All of you go now! Surround that f*cker!”

After they received the order, the remaining men rushed toward Ye Shaoyang . In response, Ye Shaoyang merely took a few small, quick steps amidst the punching and kicking . Surprisingly, they failed to knock him down . Once he saw the opportunity, he would seize it and throw out a punch . One after another, Chen Jianbo’s men fell to the ground and rolled, as they moaned in pain .

Ye Shaoyang clapped his hands . He did not show off . Instead, he innocently looked at Chen Jianbo and said, “I told you . You should bring more men next time . ” Ye Shaoyang looked back at Xiao Ma, who continued to stare at the current scene with his mouth agape . Then, Ye Shaoyang said to him, “Let's go back to our dorm room . ”

The crowd was silent . All the students automatically gave way as Ye Shaoyang and Xiao Ma walked back abreast . The students stood in awe as they watched this dirty and messy young man walk away . A moment ago, many of them felt worried for him, but now they realized something—they were worrying for the wrong person . The crowd could probably accept the situation if Ye Shaoyang had used flashy moves or well-known kung fu styles to beat Chen Jianbo’s men . But that was not the case . The crowd was silent and shocked because they had just witnessed a real ‘One Punch Man,’ who had only repeated used one punch to neutralize the whole gang .

Chen Jianbo could not accept this loss to Ye Shaoyang at all . He had even brought so many men with him this time . He had never thought it would end up like this . Ye Shaoyang pushed Xiao Ma aside in the nick of time . He sprung up and shifted into a position for an overhead kick to avoid the bike . Then, he followed through and kicked the back of Chen Jianbo’s head . Chen Jianbo cried out in pain, as the motorbike veered out of control and threw Chen Jianbo into a pine tree before it stopped .

“Don't tell me he is dead?” Xiao Ma asked worriedly .

Ye Shaoyang was also unsure . He walked forth to take a closer look . Chen Jianbo hung upside down . He was stuck between two branches and could not move at all . Once he saw Ye Shaoyang approach, he weakly scolded, “Put me down, bastard, put me down now… . ”

“He looks fine . He can still throw insults . Let's go . ”

Everyone remained mute, as Ye Shaoyang and Xiao Ma hurriedly left the place .

“Little Ye, when did you learn such great kung fu?” asked Xiao Ma once they left the crowd .
