Both of them were stunned, looked at Ye Shaoyang, and waited for him to explain more .

Ye Shaoyang looked at the Spirit Commissioner and said, “Well?”

The Spirit Commissioner looked at Ye Shaoyang with killing intent and said, “My badge and chain were both taken away from me . I’m curious as to where you got that chain from . ”

“You want to frame me?” Ye Shaoyang laughed and said, “I got this from an underworld midwife . Are you saying that she took it from you? Even if she did, how could you not have investigated it?”

Ye Shaoyang shook his head and pointed at the Spirit Commissioner, “If I’m not wrong, I think you’re the fifth spirit in the Five Spirit Moving Mountain Formation and the servant of Madam Chee!”

After the Spirit Commissioner heard Ye Shaoyang’s explanation, it became calm and put its hand around Xie Yuqing’s neck .

Ye Shaoyang was very nervous, but he didn’t show it . Instead, he laughed and said, “You think I’m that dumb? If I let you go, why would you give her back? Don’t you dare tell me that you have integrity . You’re a spirit, not human . If you really want to live, then give her back to me first . I promise you can go if you do so . ”

The Spirit Commissioner burst out in laughter, “To be honest, I don’t trust you humans either . Well, if you want to do it this way, then let’s just wait until her corpse rots . ”

Ye Shaoyang was taken aback . Under the hot sun, her corpse would deteriorate more every moment they wasted . Even if her corpse didn’t rot completely, some part of her organs would sustain damage . It had been two hours already since she died, so it could not wait anymore .

Ye Shaoyang thought for a while and knew there was no way this could end peacefully . Even though the Spirit Commissioner seemed calm, it was not going to let Xie Yuqing go . Time to end this?

After thinking for some time, Ye Shaoyang made his decision . Physical force was the only way . Within seconds, Ye Shaoyang was in front of the Spirit Commissioner, inches away from cutting it down . It was now left with only two options: block his attack or run .

“Xiao Ma!” Ye Shaoyang yelled .

Xiao Ma knew what that meant . He immediately bit his tongue and spat blood on the ‘doll’ . He shut his eyes and chanted, “Come now your soul as I activate this doll . Come now for nothing can hinder your way!”

A ray of gold light shot out from the talisman paper and struck Xie Yuqing

Xie Yuqing yelled and was immediately pulled from the hands of the Spirit Commissioner . Before the Spirit Commissioner knew what had happened, Xie Yuqing’s soul was already gone . Since Ye Shaoyang was already at a striking distance, the Spirit Commissioner gave up on Xie Yuqing and raised its hands to block the sword .

Instantly, Spirit Qi gathered around its hands and formed a ‘sword’ to collide with the Qixing Dragon Sword .

“Eradicate evil in all directions! Align now the seven stars in heaven and punish all evil!” Ye Shaoyang commanded . Within seconds, the purple ray of his sword intensified and cut through the Spirit Commissioner’s hands and, ultimately, through its body .

Immediately, the Spirit Commissioner began to fade away .

“I have still been killed, ” the Spirit Commissioner sighed and muttered, “But the formation is almost ready . You will not be able to kill Madam Chee, you won’t win . ”

Its voice faded away as it disappeared, and the wind blew away its Spirit Qi .

Ye Shaoyang let out a breath and sat on the ground . He looked back at Xiao Ma and said, “Good thing you didn’t mess up . ”

“Of course, I didn't . Who do you think I am? This is child's play . ”

Ye Shaoyang rolled his eyes and wanted to give him a kick . Then, out of nowhere, a gust of Yin Qi blew pass them . Ye Shaoyang looked up and watched a thick black cloud approach them . It seemed very ominous .

Then, a woman’s sob came from the dark clouds . Her cries also seemed to be angry .

Xiao Ma was shocked, “Little Ye, this is…”

“It’s Madam Chee!”
