Mother Gu had texted Zhang Sheng, her big brother, from the elevator and couldn’t help but started crying in the taxi. She was so frightened that she was shaking.

Was it when she married Gu Jiangxin and trusted him blindly and let him have his ways? Or was it when Gu Wushuang was ill and she had spoiled her and failed at raising her properly as a mother? Or was it when she treated her own daughter coldly when she found her?
