Classmate

The next morning, Qu Zhi started to put on her makeup. The sky was still bright, so she turned on the light on the dressing table.

She was so excited that she couldn’t fall asleep even if she lay down. She might as well start preparing early and make herself look prettier.

Liang Wen woke up as well.

“You’re up so early, do you want me to send you there?”

“You sleep a little longer, I’ll go there myself.” Qu Zhi was busy untying the curls on her hair.

Qu Zhi had completed the procedures and could go with the lesson today.

She chose a seat further back. Her eyes were good, and most importantly, she didn’t have to eat chalk dust.

“Hello.” At that moment, a girl in a floral dress sat beside her. She looked friendly, with dark skin, dark eyes, and two small dimples when she smiled. She was very likable. “Can I sit with you? Big Sister.”

Qu Zhi nodded with a smile.

The last time she had a deskmate was in elementary and middle school, and she had not gone to school since. Qu Zhi felt as if she had returned to her school days, filled with a sense of novelty and excitement.

“My name is Wang Tian, please take care of me.” Wang Tian extended her hand. Her hands were slightly calloused and rough.

Because the afternoon class was about to start at around one o’clock, Qu Zhi had to have lunch at the training institution.

After a while, Wang Tian returned with two plates of food.

Qu Zhi laughed. This little girl was really likable, making people want to get closer to her.

“Why did you resign?” Qu Zhi was quite envious of her. This little girl had a good prospect at first glance. So to be a stay-at-home wife was definitely not her first choice.

“I’m looking for a job in my hometown.” Wang Tian smiled and said to her, “After learning here, I’ll go back to my hometown.”
