Anya could sense how Lu Yunxiao felt, so she had a feeling that they were destined to be together.

“After he had been recuperating for seven days, he wanted to go save the others, so he left. However, this time, I went along with him.

“One of my patients has a high status in Country A, so he had access to the Ministry of Aerospace.

“Not before long, Major General Runge from Country D came over. Some people in the Ministry of Aerospace were taken over by worms, but they took care of them and destroyed the secret lab.”

Anya spoke casually, but Zi Yi could tell they were in grave danger at the time.

After chatting for a while, Mrs. Lu came out through the door and called them in, “Yiyi and Ya, come on in for a bite. The food is ready.”

Zi Yi acknowledged her call. “We’re coming right over, Mom.”

Zi Yi and Anya stood up and headed to the door.

Lu Jingye, Lu Yunxiao, and their father heard Mrs. Lu’s voice and came over as well.

Zi Yi looked at the sweat on Lu Jingye’s forehead and said, “Ah Jing, why don’t you wash up before eating?”

Anya looked at Lu Yunxiao as well.

Lu Yunxiao nodded to Anya before he strode in quickly with Lu Jingye.

Second Master Lu had brought a towel with him. He wiped his sweat as he walked and said to Anya, “Yunxiao doesn’t talk much, so I hope you can bear with it in the future.”

Zi Yi and Anya did not expect Second Master Lu to say this.

Zi Yi pondered briefly, when she suddenly realized what Second Master Lu meant by this.

Second Master Lu was worried that Anya might change her mind about Lu Yunxiao because he was such a quiet man.

She looked at Anya as she contemplated.

Anya said solemnly to Second Master Lu, “I think he’s great. I like him exactly for who he is.”

Second Master Lu heaved a sigh of relief.

His second son was a very quiet man with hardly any expression on his face. His wife was not alone in worrying, even he was worried Anya might lose patience and dump Lu Yunxiao.

When they entered the villa, the maid was setting down breakfast on the dining table.

Mrs. Lu came out with some food.

After sitting at the table, Mrs. Lu smiled as she placed some food in Zi Yi and Anya’s bowls. She put on a casual look as she asked Anya, “Did you sleep well?”

Anya was not the mincing type, so she nodded. “Yes, I did.”

The smile on Mrs. Lu’s face deepened. She said, “After breakfast, we can pick an auspicious date for the wedding. Once we settle the dates, you can call your family. What do you think?”

“Sure. You decide.”

Mrs. Lu felt even happier. “Good. Since the babies are ready to come out in a few days, I was thinking we could combine the wedding and their month-old birthday. That way, it’ll help to liven things up more.”

“Ok.”

Lu Jingye and Lu Yunxiao came downstairs after washing up and Mrs. Lu chatted briefly with Lu Yunxiao.

Lu Yunxiao simply acknowledged his mother without objecting to anything.

After breakfast, Mrs. Lu, Zi Yi, and Anya went to the babies’ room.

Lu Jingye, Lu Yunxiao, and their father went to the study.

Anya stood beside the nutrient solution container and looked at the two babies curiously.

“They are beautiful.”

Anya looked at the babies for some time before turning to look at Zi Yi.

Zi Yi placed her hand on the wall of the nutrient solution container. The two babies would swim over and lean against her hand looking adorable.

Anya’s eyes lit up with an envious expression on her face. “I want to have babies too.”

Zi Yi laughed as she looked at Anya’s belly and said, “Then you have to work hard.”

Anya surprisingly nodded. “We are working on it.”

Mrs. Lu was checking the almanac by the side and burst out laughing. Both her daughters-in-law had very direct personalities. She adored them.

Mrs. Lu said, “Yunxiao is a little dumb. Don’t expect him to take any initiative, okay?”

Zi Yi covered her mouth and laughed.

Anya also laughed and said, “I think he’s perfect.”

Only she knew why he was perfect.

After flipping through the almanac for a while, Mrs. Lu said to them, “I checked to see when the most recent auspicious dates are. The 25th of the next month, the 17th the month after and the first week of December are all good dates. Anya, what date do you prefer?”

“The 25th of next month.”

“Ok.”

They settled on Anya and Lu Yunxiao’s wedding date simply.

When Mrs. Lu told Lu Yunxiao about this, he had no objections either.

After confirming the wedding date and the day the babies could come out, things became busy.

Zi Yi told Lu Yunxiao she needed men and so the next day, Lu Yunxiao went to the aviation research base with Zi Yi.

Lu Yunxiao was blown away after looking around. He said, “Your base is even more advanced than the one in Country A.”

He thought about his subordinates who had gotten captured and said, “I want to be among the first batch of people to go to outer space.”

“Do you want to save your subordinates?”

“That’s right.”

Zi Yi went quiet briefly and said, “Sure, but you need to undergo a period of training.”

“Ok.”

“I have stringent physical demands expected of the candidates going to space. Can you help me find some candidates? The more the better. We can eliminate them one by one later.”

She might have to find more potential candidates from other places as well.

“Sure.”

While Lu Yunxiao worked on finding candidates for Zi Yi, she went to the Dou residence.

She went over to tell them when the babies were coming out.

It was currently the school holidays, but the people in the Dou residence did not idle around.

Elder Dou was particularly delighted. “Perfect. My great-grandchildren are finally coming out. We have to throw them a big party.”
