He and Second Master Lu continued to follow the transporting robots.

After walking for some time, they arrived at a large laboratory.

After the robots moved all the equipment inside, the room of the laboratory was automatically locked.

Second Master Lu and Mr. Qin stood on the other side of the glass window and looked in.

The composed Mr. Qin and Second Master Lu felt their hearts thumping uncontrollably when they heard her words. This excitement that was beyond what they could tolerate caused them to reach out and hold each other’s hands.

“That’s great!”

Lu Jingye came out of the laboratory at around five o’clock in the morning.

Lu Jingye also drank some and it was true that he did not feel hungry or sleepy even until now.

Just as Lu Jingye was about to walk upstairs, his phone suddenly rang.

After he answered the call, he headed outside.

Dou Zerui hastily followed along. “Little Lu, did something happen?”

“There is an accident on Prince Justin’s side. I will be going out. You guys should stay here and don’t go anywhere.”

Dou Zerui stopped walking and said, “Ok.”

Lu Jingye walked to the courtyard and got into a car and drove away.

When he arrived at the end of the barrier Zi Yi had set up, Lu Jingye brought along Little Loli and one of his invisible robots before he continued to drive outside.

“Brother-in-law, what are we going to do?”

“Rescue Justin.”

Justin never imagined that Edward would aim for his wife and child since he was unable to enter Lu Jingye’s winery.

Looking at his wife and child that was being held hostage on the other side, Justin’s eyes were bloodshot.

“Edward, you better not harm my wife or child. Otherwise, I won’t ever forgive you!”

Edward snorted and said coldly, “You are now a sinner in the country. If you continue with your obstinacy, then all Country M’s citizens will be in dire straits. If you don’t make a choice today, then I can only teach you a lesson on behalf of all the citizens.”

As soon as Edward said that, the guards holding onto Justin’s wife and child placed a gun to their heads.

Justin was feeling extremely anxious as he listened to the frightened cries of his wife and child.

Lu Jingye looked away from him and turned to Justin.

There were traces of surprise in Justin’s eyes. “Mr. Lu, why are you here?”

Lu Jingye said with a calm expression, “Since you’ve chosen to stand on my side, I can’t possibly watch on the sidelines and see my allies get hurt.”

Traces of emotions flashed past Justin’s eyes.

“Hmph!” Edward sneered at this. “You yourself are in dire straits and yet, you’re thinking of someone else’s safety? As expected of Lu Jingye, you’re the best at gaining people’s trust. Since you’re so loyal, follow me and leave.”

Having said that, he took a step backwards. At the same time, Edward’s bodyguards aimed their weapons at Lu Jingye.

“Mr. Lu, be careful.”

The guards on Justin’s side also raised their weapons and aimed at the guards on the other side.

Lu Jingye gave him a look of assurance and called out, “Little Loli.”
