Chapter 951: Kana Seeks Retribution Part 1

The sounds of hearts breaking among the girls by the gate could be heard as many of them lowered their heads. Kana looked out over the crowd and nodded her head in satisfaction. "Now, let's disperse!"

Later that day, inside the land of the dead. "Big Sister, it doesn't stop!" Kana yelled out in a whiny voice.

"Haha… Welcome to the world of the ruling class. It is not always fun and games. But it is true that by doing this, that it will be a good experience for you. After you get used to all the paperwork, you will be finished in no time." Ceilie said as she patted Kana's head.

"MMm… Even I am getting used to it!" Nergal said proudly as she wagged her tails.

"You have been doing it for so long and are only now getting used to it! Don't put Kana in the same boat as you. She is on the smart boat." Ceilie replied.

Nergal, at first was feeling proud but after hearing what Ceilie just said she had a feeling she was being picked on, so she yelled out. "Your making fun of me aren't you!?"

"You are just figuring this out now?" Ceilie asked jokingly.

"You!" Nergal pounced but missed because Ceilie ran away. As for Kana, who was watching the whole thing, smiled warmly. It was good that her big sister and sister in law were getting along so well.

"Big Sister, I still got work to do, so I will visit you again later," Kana said as she tore a hole in space and disappeared. Ceilie, who was pushing on Nergal's face watched as Kana disappeared and smiled. "She has matured a lot."

Nergal pursed her lips and nodded. "She has grown so much. But I am happy for her. Now…. Ceilie, you will face my wrath!" The two girls once again began horsing around.

Back in the palace, Kana sat at her desk looking over the paperwork when her attendant came walking into the room. Her name was Jia Young. "Your Highness, General Song has arrived asking for you to pass judgment."

Kana raised her head and looked at Jia Young, and tilted her head. "Pass judgment on what?"

"I am not sure he refused to tell me." Jia Young had a strange expression on her face. "I asked ten times, but he said he would only speak to you about it."

"Alright. I will go meet with him." Kana sighed as she got up. But she was actually glad something exciting was happening as the paperwork never ended, so this was a good chance for her to take a break.

Kana walked out to the throne room, where she took a seat and looked at the man in leather and metal armor kneeling on the floor. "General Song, can you explain to me what is going on?"

"Your highness!" General Song looked up, his eyes full of years as he opened his arms showing a served head within them. "Please give my Yu'er justice! "

Kana's brow wrinkled. She looked at the head that was a young woman still in her teens and frowned even more. "Who did this?"

"The Wang clan's young master! He wanted to take my Yu'er as a concubine, but he is known for being ruthless to the girls he takes in. So we refused him. While Yu'er was out shopping, he tried to forcefully take her, and she fought back, scratching his face. He then came to my doorstep and told me all this before he tossed her head at me with a disdainful look. I wanted to kill him there and then, but I couldn't! If I did, the rest of my family would suffer! So please, your highness, give me justice!" General Song cried out. Tears streamed down his face.

Kana, who was a big family advocate, anger began to rise. "Don't worry, General Song. I will have the Wang clan's young master summoned here, and you can take his head without worrying about your family being targeted. What good is a family clan? I prize those who lead the soldiers of this empire more than some family clan."

"Jia Young, send someone to drag the Wang clan's young master here. If he is not here in an hour, I will destroy the entire Wang clan." Kana was mad. Very mad. She saw no reason for someone else's daughter to die because of some arrogant young master. This was one of the things she hated about this world the most. And that was why she planned to make her empire different from the others.

"General Song, which Wang Clan young master?" Jia Young turned to the General and asked, who then answered: "Wang Hai!"

"Clan head! Soldiers from the palace are here asking for the third young master to enter the palace!" A servant boy ran in and reported.

"Oh? Tell them the third young master is busy and that he will go when he can." The Wang clan head replied with a mocking smile. "Does the new empress think we will just follow her orders!?"

"Clan head! They say that if he does not show up that the empress will destroy the entire Wang clan." The servant boy replied. He had his head lowered as his body shook. He dared not leave anything out, even if he were to be punished for it.

"Oh?" The Wang clan head tapped his fingers off the armrest of his chair before turning to the man beside him. "Tell the third young master that he needs to head into the palace. Also, help me get ready. I will be going with him. I would like to see why the new empress suddenly wanted to see one of my sons."

In a courtyard within the Wang clan estate, Wang Hai was standing in front of a young woman who looked very malnourished, waving around a meat bun. "You want to eat this? You want it!?"

The young woman could only nod her head in shame as she had not eaten anything for many days. "Young Master, the clan head is calling you." A voice came from behind them. Wang Hai frowned as he tossed the meat button on the ground and turned around. "Take me to him."

The young woman's eyes flashed as she hurriedly grabbed the meat bun and began eating it. "I need to keep my strength so I can escape this place…"
