Chapter 123: Academy Life Part One

Lying on the couch eating a grape, Yuthia almost choked when she heard Kana yell. Sei, who was half lying on top of her, raised her head and glared at Yuthia. "Didn't you say you wouldn't say anything?"

Yuthia looked up in the air, not daring to look Sei in the eyes as she began whistling. Of course, Sei was not going to let her off that easily as she crawled up Yuthia's body until they were face to face. "Didn't you promise me?"

"I...." Yuthia looked into Sei's eyes and suddenly felt very guilty. "I'm sorry! But Kana got me in trouble last time, and I wanted to punish her a little! I only told the little fox girl! She deserved to know anyway, right? I mean, she was forced to drink pi… Ow! Sei stwap!! My chweeks!!"

Sei ruthlessly pinched and stretched Yuthia's cheeks this wary and that way as she spoke: "Yu! Thi! A! Can you not be so petty!? Plus, you were in the wrong last time too! No one would stick up for you when you were trying to do weird things to them!"

"Fine! I will just give her another blessing to make up for it. How does immortality sound?" Yuthia asked as she was about to wave her hand to settle it as if things were a done deal when Sei grabbed her wrist.

"Do you think giving blessings this way and that way is going to help with anything? You should apologize!" Sei yelled.

"Okay… But will you go with me?" Yuthia asked as she gave puppy dog eyes to Sei.

Sei let out a sigh and leaned in and kissed Yuthia's lips. "I will, but we will wait until she is alone. We do not want to make a big scene."

Yuthia smiled and kissed Sei back as she happily said: "Okay! Thank you, Sei!"

Kiliffia was startled by Kana's sudden outburst, "Goddess Kana?"

"Ahh… Nothing… I was just cursing someone. Look, Kiliffia, I did what I did to try to save you. I had no other options at the time." Kana went on to explain how bad Kiliffia's situation was and why she resorted to such a thing.

"It's fine." Kiliffia said her cheeks and neck were red as can be. She twirled her fingers as she lowered her head bashfully.

Kana let out a sigh and reached up and scratched Kiliffia behind her ears. "Forget it. Let's go inside the room. People are staring."

"Okay." Kiliffia nodded her head and grabbed Kana's hand, and dragged her into the room.

The room itself was not all that big. It had its own bathroom that consisted of a sink, a stand-up shower, and a toilet. The room had two closets, two beds, two nightstands, and two desks. And there was a single window for them to get some natural light. Although it was small, it was cozy, and the walls, ceiling, and doors were enchanted to keep it soundproof.

"I took the left side. I hope you don't mind." Kiliffia said as she showed Kana around.

"It's fine. I don't care where I sleep. Oh yeah, Aoi, introduce yourself. This here is Kiliffia, one of my friends." Kana poked the little figure who was hiding behind her neck.

Aoi peeked out from behind Kana's neck, looking at Kiliffia suspiciously, unsure what she should do. After a moment of hesitation, she finally floated out and bowed towards Kiliffia. "Hello. I am Aoi."

Kiliffia stared at the little figure in shock but soon, her lips curled up as she smiled brightly. "So cute! Goddess Kana, where did you find her? She is so cute!"

Seeing Kiliffia's reaction startled Aoi, she quickly flew back behind Kana's neck to hide. Kana let out a laugh as she replied: "I found her deep underground inside an old building. She seemed to have been there a long, long time. She is probably older than us."

"Wow… can you tell me what else happened!?" Kiliffia was all ears as she excitedly asked Kana this and that about what she had experienced, and Kana was very happy to explain it all.

Stone Hammer Kingdom…

"Creige, are you really going to add a second forge? I mean, you are only one person." Baldswin asked as he lifted a large sledgehammer and rested it on his shoulder.

"Mmm… My wife wants to forge, so I will make her the best forge to use. Why else do you think I bought up all the surrounding buildings? Less talk and more knocking down. We only got five years to finish this, and it must be the best of the best." Creige said seriously as he lifted his sledgehammer and smashed it into the wall.

"Why do I feel like you are a whipped bitch already? Have the two of you even... You know? Put the thing into the hol… Owe! Fuck man! The fuck are you hitting me for." Baldswin rubbed the top of his head that was now swelling up.

"You say one more thing, and I will make it so you can never speak for the rest of your life. Or move..." Creige said coldly.

"You! Damn, why am I even friends with you!" Baldswin grumbled but did not say anything more. He decided to take his frustrations out on the wall in front of him. He couldn't understand this friend of his. He had bought up so much property in just the past few days spending almost all his money doing so. He even bought a large estate that was fit for a king to live in, on top of all that, he had decided to remodel everything just so his wife would like it. Baldswin was starting to think this wife of his was some kind of golddigger! Of course he dared not say his opinions out loud knowing he would probably end up on the receiving end of his fist. Baldswin decided he would wait and meet this girl and if she ends up being someone who was not fit for his friend only then would he speak up.

"Achooo! Is someone talking about me again?" Kana asked as she rubbed her nose.
