Chapter 1132  A Sudden Twist?

"They are different from those who have ulterior motives." The burly man may look stupid, but he still had an eye for people. He could tell from the young woman's expression that she had hate towards their goddess.

"Are you saying I will do something!?" The young woman did not understand why she was being targeted. Even if she did have such motives, it was none of the burly man's business! After taking a deep breath, she finally said. "Move or I will force you to mov…. Ooofff! Why did you hit me!?"

The young woman held her nose, which was now bleeding in shock. She did not expect to be punched. Nor did she expect that it would actually hurt, and she would be injured! She had taken these people of this forgotten plane to be weaklings. She never thought they could actually hurt her.

"Why wouldn't I hit you? Didn't you just threaten me!? Do you think we will back down just because we have become passive? If you threaten us, we will react in kind. You said you were going to use force. So I used force as well." The burly man replied with a sneer. He did not hold back even if she was a woman.

"You! How dare you!" The young woman could no longer take it. She summoned her powers and attacked the burly man. But the burly man only snorted and swung the back of his hand out, smacking the young woman in the face and sending her flying down the street.

The young woman spat out a few mouthfuls of dirt and lay there trying to comprehend what had just happened. She did not understand why these people were so strong. They were on par with those in Eden! "How is this happening!?"

"Because you are an idiot." A familiar voice came from above her. She turned her head to see a small little face in a tear in space, looking back at her. "Did you think it was only my Mama who watched over her children? We children also watch over our Mama."

The young woman watched as the young girl stepped through the tear and floated to the ground, landing in front of her. "You…. You are…." The young woman shivered. She had been keeping tabs on all of Kana's family members as well as Kana. And there was one member who scared her to death.

"My name is Mei Ling. Normally, it would be impossible for any of us kids to step in to help Mama, but since today Mama is talking with Great Grandpa happily while eating meat, I decided to step in. Did you know…. I do not talk much normally. I do not like getting involved with things. When I do, I normally just let my puppets deal with the situation." Mei Ling's body slowly began to rise as a giant teddy bear appeared out of the ground. She stood on top of it and towered over the young woman.

The young woman began to sweat when she saw this. "You… What are you planning to do!?"

"What should I do? I have already talked so much, but that is only because you are Great Grandpa's helper. If this was not the case, my doll mansion would have already been opened. Let me ask you, why are you so against my Mama? What has she done to you? If it was not for the fact that you showed up today, I wouldn't even know who you are. My Mama's goal in life is far beyond what you can ever imagine. You can say that we have only stopped in this realm to take a vacation. This realm is not even the highest realm. Eden is not even the highest realm." Mei Ling's eyes turned into buttons with stars on them as she took a step out and floated down off the top of her teddy bear.

The young woman was confused. She did not understand what Mei Lin was talking about. "You are lying! Besides Eden, there is only Oblivion! There is nothing higher than these realms. We are the most powerful beings in all the multi-verses!"

"This is where you are wrong." Mei Ling smiled. Her voice suddenly went from a cute little girl's voice to that of a more mature voice. "What you see is only the beginning. What you are experiencing is only the starting point of your journey. Only those who think it's the end has no ambition to see what is beyond."

Mei Ling's sudden change scared the young woman. She felt like a being of unimaginable power was pressing down on her. She could only watch as Mei Ling knelt down and placed her index finger on her forehead. Images began to fill her mind. Places she had never ever seen before began to appear in her mind. The people there were weaving unimaginable powers far beyond what she could dream of. They used entire multiverses as a playground while creating things beyond her imagination.

Mei Ling retracted her finger as her eyes turned completely black. When the young woman looked into them, she felt like she was being sucked into an endless abyss. "What you saw is only what we call the lower realms. The Celestial Gateway is what is beyond the start of time. Time was created by the Goddess of Oblivion. My Mama is that goddess. She created it on a whim. She created everything you see here in this place that is nothing more than a testing pot.

"Time and space. Light and darkness. None of it matters once you step through the Celestial Gateway. There, such concepts mean nothing in the face of true power. There, the celestial's rise and fall on a daily basis. The people living there, even on its lowest plane, could turn their hand and destroy everything you have here. Even my Mama would need to be careful there. And it is only there that Mama had originated."

"You…. Who are you!?" The young woman realized she was no longer talking to Kana's daughter any more. This person was not from this place or any place she knew of.

"Who I am does not matter. But just know that my Mama is much greater than you." Mei Ling suddenly looked up at the sky and frowned. "My time seems to be up. I will leave you with this final bit of information…. You dare cause trouble for my Mama again, well…. Let's just say the doll house my little sisters has is nothing compared to what I can do…."
