Chapter 1121  The Gatekeeper

"I warned you…." Mei Ling sighed. The door to her doll mansion opened up, and a massive white hand shot out. It grabbed all three girls and into its grip causing them to scream in horror. Before they knew what was going on, they were all standing within a carnival tent. A clown holding ballons stood in front of them with a smile on its face showing its razor sharp yellow teeth.

It let out a chuckle and jumped up into the air and clicked its heels together before landing on the ground and bowing to the three girls. "Welcome ladies. To think I would get three in one go."

"You!? Where are we!?" The blonde haired ringlet girl asked. Her voice trembled she had no idea what she had gotten herself into. Everything happened so fast that her mind had yet to even grasp what was going on. She only remembered the little girl telling her that she would not return to her world if she had taken a step forward. And not here she was in a strange place!

"This is a realm created by our master, the Goddess of Puppets. She is a kind hearted girl, and as most kind people, she has deep dark evils hidden within her. We are the manifestation of those evils. We are the beings who have come to life thanks to our master and this world is a world created by her. This is a realm with only an entrance and no exit. We are happy to assist our master.

"We will be the evil that takes care of the things that threaten her. We will make sure our master's pure heart is never tainted again. When a new evil surfaces, this world grows. With each new evil, our ability to welcome our guests grows even more. And I, I am the gatekeeper, the one who welcomes our Master's guests and allows them to experience the evils hidden deep within our Master.

"Welcome to the doll mansion, a world where the living experience hell and the evil of all evil plays." The gatekeeper grinned once more. Before the girls even realized it each one of them had a balloon in their hands.

The blonde ringlet girl stared at the balloon in her hand. She had a red one. Her two companions were blue and green. She had a bad feeling that these balloons meant something that was beyond anything she could ever imagine, and it was not something that was good.

"Now then. My little friends will take you to your rooms. Please do, rest well, my new guests. And please experience what it means to anger our Master." The gatekeeper waved his hand.

Three cloth dolls with button eyes dressed in long dresses flew over. They flew around the three girls a few times while chanting: "New toys! New toys! We will get to play with new toys!" ????????.???

The three girls all shivered. They wanted to swat the cloth dolls away that had hair made of yarn, but they were too fast. No matter how quickly they moved their hands, they could not hit them. What was even stranger was that they could not let go of the balloons in their hands. It was as if they were glued in place. They could open the palm of their hands, but the string would stick to their palms.

"Let us go! You have no idea what you are even doing! My grandfather is on the council! He will not let you or your Master off!" The blonde headed ringlet girl yelled out. She had no way of fighting at this time, so she could only try to threaten.

The gatekeeper continued to smile as it let out a jolly laugh. "You seem to be misunderstanding something, Even if your grandfather was ten no a hundred times more powerful than you, it would not matter. You see… There is only one being in the entire lower multiverse who is stronger than me. And that being is my Master's mother. We see all we hear, all that goes in all the realms. We are never bored. We know who has the most power and who does not. You are nothing but a small ant in the ocean. This realm is not sealed because my Master wanted it to be but because I keep it sealed. The evils in this place are enough to destroy the lower multiverses with ease.

"So, little girl who does not know how high the mountain is, it is time for you to enjoy the fun." The gatekeeper's smile never left his lips, even after saying so much. He waved his hand and turned around. As he did, the cloth dolls suddenly expanded and turned into huge disgusting creatures and grabbed the three girls, dragging them off as they screamed for mercy.

"Gatekeeper is what you said true?" A young looking girl walked over. She wore a gothic style dress with white frills and held an umbrella. "Are you really keeping us here?"

"Little Mei, of all the evils, you are the worse. Master is kind hearted and it is our duty to protect that. Isn't that why you signed the sealing contract?" The gatekeeper asked.

"Mmm…. Master is very gentle. She gave birth to all of us. She even talks to us in her dreams. But…. What if something happens to Master? What if you are not quick enough? Like today. If you were even a step too late, our master could have died." The young girl asked. She had a look of concern on her face.

"Little Mei, you can not fool me. I know more than anyone that you had once tried to take over our master's body. Why do you think the first one I suppressed was you when Master first created the doll house? You out of all of us are far from caring about our master. Just do your job and do it right. If not, I will disperse your soul like the others who dared to anger me."
