Chapter 1085 Penthouse 1 Billion

The young man stared blankly at his father, his face swollen. He had no idea how this could happen. He could only think of one thing, and that was the girl who had taken his money. "JJ, I mean every word I just said so you better get that money back soon or everything we own will be gone. And when that happens I might not be able to retrain myself from killing you."

The young man, JJ's body shook slightly at his father's words. He gritted his teeth as he said: "I think I know who did it. I just need to confirm a few things before I can get the money back."

"Humph! Just do as I said." JJ's father stormed out of the room just as he stomped his way in. JJ could only watch as he left before finally holding his side in pain. 

"That bastard really knows how to keep hitting the same spots!"  JJ complained as he struggled to stand. He took out his phone and made a call. "I need the transaction data from my card. The ones I told you to save."

After hanging up he his phone dinged, and the information he asked for appeared. On it showed the transactions of all the purchases from last night. "She went to a gaming center huh? Hopefully, she is still there." 

JJ just wanted to track the girl down and get her to give back all the money. Even if she did not do it, he would force her one way or another to cough it up, even if she had to be forced to do unspeakable deeds. Right now, his entire life was on the line, so he did not care what he had to do to get the money back.

Sadly for JJ, who was about to go on a wild goose chase, Kana had long left the gaming center and headed towards a real estate office that she had contacted earlier after making a fake id and getting a new phone. She wanted to find a new place to live. 

"How can I help you?" A young woman called out to Kana as she entered the door. She felt something was slightly off with Kana since she had no shoes on at all.

"Yes, I called earlier to find the closest, most expensive penthouse you have," Kana replied, causing the young woman's eyes to widen. Her smile quickly became a non fake one as she ushered Kana in. 

"This way, please, Miss Kana" The young woman no longer saw Kana as weird but just a rich eccentric. She had met many rich people, and they all had weird quirks about them. At least Kana's bare feet did not seem as bad as some of the other things she had seen before. 

Kana was led into a private room that had a big fluffy couch and a table with many snakes on it. She did not show any shame as she sat down and began eating the snakes as if it was her own house. The young woman's eyebrow twitched slightly, but she still kept her smile plastered on her face as she sat down across from Kana. "What kind of penthouse are you looking for?"

"Mmm…. It has to be furnished, and I must be able to move in today. It should be private and very secure. Also, it would be nice if a meat stand was downstairs, but that is not a necessity." Kana replied, all while stuffing her face.

"I see… Well… For penthouses that match your description, we have two available that you can move into right away. One of which does have a street food vendor that parks across the street that sells me….." The young woman did not even get to finish before Kana interrupted her.

"I will take that one, then. The one with the street vendor. Just take the money off here. I will pay in full. No need for bank loans or anything." The young woman almost fainted upon hearing these words.

" I am sorry. I think I misheard you, Miss Kana. The penthouse is worth over one billion….. But you want to pay in full?" The young woman asked, trying to confirm this. If so, her payday would be enough to let her live the rest of her life without needing to work ever again. If anyone offered to pay a few million in full, the cut for the agency was huge, and so would her commission.

"Mmm… You heard right. Hey, you got any more of these pink things? They are really good." Kana asked as she stuffed the last pink snack into her mouth.

The young woman nodded absentmindedly as she stumbled out of the room to get more snacks. She couldn't believe she had hit the jackpot.  Normally these rich types will try to haggle and then take out hundred year loans. Her cut would be only a fraction of the cost. 

Sometime later, Kana entered his new penthouse with keys in hand. She looked around to find it was quite fancy. It had TVs and computers and even the latest in AI home services. "Register new owner, Kana."

"New owner Kana registered. Would you like to give me a Name?" The AI assistant asked.

"Since you sound male, then we will go with Manly," Kana replied. She felt this name was very good!

"Name Manly now registered. Master, what can I do for you today." Manly asked.

"I want you to put up your internal code on the pc in the living room. I will rework your code to make you better. Also, I need all your stats and the access point location to upgrade your components." Kana did not want some crappy low intelligence AI in her house. She wanted something close to Eve who could converse with her properly and even do research for her without her needing to say a word. 

"Understood. All my statistics, as well as my code base, are now being displayed. As for my central hub and components, I pulled up a map to show you the exact location within the house."
