He turned around and rushed towards a black shadow that was running quickly.

Just as he was about to grab the dark figure, a van drove past.

Lin Yun ran up from behind and finally arrived beside Feng Hao.

“Feng Hao, are you alright?” Lin Yun asked with concern as she sized Feng Hao up.

Feng Hao slapped his thigh dejectedly and said, “Damn it! I didn’t see the license plate number clearly!”

Lin Yun could only reveal a faint smile. “Thank you so much for today! Let’s go back quickly!”

Feng Hao did not refuse. After all, no one knew where the danger was hidden in the middle of the night.

“I’ll send you back!” Feng Hao said firmly.

Lin Yun hesitated for a moment before nodding. “Thank you!”

Such a night was indeed dangerous. At least having someone with her would make her feel safer.

When Lin Yun and Feng Hao returned to the Lin family’s mansion, the Lin family’s banquet was about to end.

Lin Yun looked at the brightly lit room and frowned.

Feng Hao watched Lin Yun walk into the courtyard and turned to leave.

“Yo, isn’t this the ex-Miss Lin?” Ni Tang and the others were walking out of the hall. When they saw Lin Yun, they started teasing her.

Lin Yun ignored them and walked around them, preparing to head to the backyard.

Lin Yu also walked to the door and glanced at Lin Yun, ignoring her.

“Mimi, I’ll send you off!” Lin Yu said as she smiled and walked beside Mimi and the others.

Lin Yun revealed a disdainful smile and went around to the backyard.

In the hall, many guests had already left.

Lin Cheng was a little drunk and couldn’t control his body when he walked.

Wang Lan accompanied Lin Cheng and nodded at the guests.

After finally sending all the guests away, Lin Cheng and Wang Lan returned to their rooms to rest.

Lin Yu walked to Lin Yun’s door and knocked lightly. “Sister, I’m Lin Yu…”

Lin Yu shouted for a long time, but no one answered.

The expression on her face became one of embarrassment.
